After dismantling the Grizzlies twice this season, who here sees the Warriors winning the West?
I love the point about how Steph changed the game and that's one of the sources of resentment. I think about guys like Kenneth Faried that had so much potential at first but couldn't find a good fit in the changing NBA landscape. I think the league should bring back more contact so people can understand that the 3pt spacing already counters a lot of the physical play since you can't hand check someone that is shooting a 3 anyway. With the level of athleticism in the game now and the sophistication of dribbling techniques, I think it'd be a fair balance to bring back more physical defense. It's more fun than Ja and JP getting called for questionable dribbling.

I'm livid at the refs each time I watch a Warriors game. One time I threw something at the screen on the foul called on the Klay swipe in which I knew was all ball. Stupid refs.

The warriors themselves admit to doing illegal screens, but honestly I don't know if it would change much if they started calling them, as long as the warriors adapt and stop doing them. Or at least do them less obviously. Aside from that, sure you can be mad the already great warriors signed KD, but they were winning before they had him and are winning after he's gone. Can't really get mad at anything else, all their players are either drafted or were traded for and developed into what they are now by the warriors.

When the refs mess up and it costs a team the game due to bad calls, they get nothing. All they have to do is give an apology two weeks before the next season starts.
I’ve debated this before but their needs to be a public viewing rating system for all judges in every sport. When they F up enough it effects their rating.
Strike 1: technical (pay a fine and retraining)
Strike 2: technical, retraining and be suspended without pay
Strike 3: find a new job.
You’ll see more fair judging in mma, boxing, football, nba, etc real fast

That’s why the Warriors can’t leave the decision about who wins the game up to the corrupt and biased “referees.” The Warriors have to win by actually beating down and knocking out their opponents; something they have so far failed to do this season!
It does not appear they have solved the hole Mike Brown’s departure has created for their defense. Nobody seems to be noticing the impact of Brown, forget the departures of GP II, Porter, Anderson, Lee and Bjelica, on the struggles and woes of the Warriors this season. But the proof of the pudding is that a team that did not make the playoffs last season is currently sitting pretty at #3 in the West, having racked up 20 wins and 17 losses so far this season with practically the same players who were on the roster last season. Was Mike Brown the Wizard behind the Warriors’ championship curtain, all this while? I think he was!
