All star starters being picked by fans makes it such a joke, it’s why I have zero respect for people who use all star nods as measurement of success.
Mike Prada a wizards beat writer called the blazers wizards west and I have to agree. Very unserious franchise. Should be trading Hart Nurk and 2 picks for Julius Randle. Best front court player dame would have ever played with. If caruso cost 2 picks according to the bulls then consolidating for Randle and getting off Nurk is the move to make to not waste dame
This team needs an enforcer inside like Maurice Lucas- 6’9” 215 or Buck Williams- 6’8” 215. Chris Boucher 6’9” 200 can defend the interior well and be an offensive force that compliments Nurk and Grant-6’8” 210.
Boucher is an Oregon Duck, which would make him an immediate fan favorite; that combination would boost his confidence, offensive production and defensive energy.
Boucher can be acquired from Toronto because they have a glut in PF’s and can use what Portland has a glut in- SG/SF’s. The most tradable is Josh Hart- 6’4” 215 who would be a great 6th man for them. A trade for Chris Boucher for Josh Hart would address the needs of both teams.

Dame ain’t getting in the top 2 guards spots in the west no matter how you vote choose or pick. He’s 5th or 6th as it is, it’s not even like he’s close anymore to top 2 (no knock. On him, just the way it is). He definitely did pick it up to make it where he wasn’t on the border of 6th or 7th tho, like you mentioned him needing to pick it up. He vaulted himself to 5th getting his scoring up to 30 from 26-27 at the time 3 weeks ago or so. He jumped booker for 5th bc of his last three weeks so he’s solid. But 4 weeks ago he was not locked in but he def took care of business so kudos to him
He is beating Curry on basically every metrics thus season. The teams are only a game apart as well. Dame had a NBA historic game. I'm not even saying that because of bias. I am saying every way you would measure. He is having a better season that Curry.
