I love Poeltl. Iâm just nervous about having to re-sign him to a big contract.
But if weâre just grouping up our younger prospects like BBJ and Coffey (+contract filler like Wall), then Iâd honestly just take best player available and worry about it later.
Find whoever values those guys as prospects as opposed to filler and deal with them.

I thought Poeltl was a pretty good trade target. After watching him about 20 times in the last two weeks though, I don’t see what he brings to the table over Zu. …and I’m not a Zu fan. Oh, and the Clips aren’t going to trade for a starter for him to come off the bench.

I think Poeltl is better than Zu but I fear that we will get in the trap of having another slow big who plays deep drop on defense. I havenât seen too many Poeltl games though

I like it. Zu is rarely available in the playoffs, whether that be due to him being benched or in foul trouble. Him and Poe are different players too, Poe is a better offensive player, Zu defensive.
Poeltl dished out 9 AST against Denver earlier in the year, better hands & may have better chemistry with our guards.
