When Bam Adebayo is on the court, the Miami Heat operate at what would be the best defensive rating in the league, per CTG. When he’s off, they are 10 points per 100 possessions worse. (Via @CBSSportsNBA )

Bam is amazing and what kept us afloat last season is that when Bam went to the bench, if needed, then PJ would sometimes come in to fill that void. We haven’t found that replacement yet and we’re finding ourselves playing so many guards, that’ll kill your defense.

See now this is a post-worthy bit of info

NBACentral is pushing the agenda more than the Heat’s actual page.

It’s sad how the Nets and Grizzlies’ pages are able to promote their players.

Why the Heat Twitter account isnt just Bam Facts 24/7 ill never know

Gobert won 3 DPOY based on plus minus but Bam isn’t even in the top 3!

Come to think of it the only think Brook Lopez, JJJ and Claxton do better than Bam is block shots but for some reason people look at that as the most important thing on defense when it’s really just the most exciting part.

Is this the biggest discrepancy on starters in the league? Sounds staggeringly large

Heat media is trash tbh, partly the reason why Wade was snubbed of all nbas and general limelight all those years before Bron came. I always say Wade would be top 10 GOAT status in a NY market but it is what it is.

Bam with the 6th highest defensive efficiency rating this season 💪.

Having a great year defensively when you consider his increased offensive output too
