Why would you trade Chris wood…..?
If they want to compete for a championship they have to make a trade. Can't go into the playoffs with arguably the worst Center in the league again and expect different results.
They would have actually had a shot to win it all last year If they had Miles defending the paint, while able to stretch the floor on offense, along with this years Josh Green who is able to spell relief for our other 2 3&D guys who played great but was exhausted and spent after avg 40 minutes a game.
I wouldn't bet a lot on it, but if that paint wasn't a runway for the Warriors, and our Wings weren't exhausted guarding them. The serious could have actually came out differently.
the mavs need to just tank and pray for a top 10 pick so we dont have to give it to the Knicks. Let Jaden Hardy develop and get substantial minutes, Let Josh Green continue to develop and try to sell off THJ, Powell, and Bertans contracts and hopefully get a FA in the offseason.
