So many sports commentators know nothing of basketball.. these folks are like ambulance chasers.. they only repeat the obvious ! Rui can score the basketball effortlessly.. If the Lakers play right and not be so LeBron centered (LBJ old) Rui could easily average 16 to 25 points a night in a supporting role .. Sprinkle in nights that he'll hit 30… Before it's all said and done the Wizards are gonna look like idiots for letting Rui go !

Trading for Rui was a move in the right direction. He has more upside than Kendrick Nunn (ppg, rpg are a huge difference) and at 6’8” at 230lbs, he will give us much needed length.
Russ still initiates offense, one of the NBA leaders in assists, and has had 4 triple doubles off the bench.
Would be interested in a PatBev trade for another 6’8” player so we can match up against the Clippers and other teams with length.

lol I am 23yrs and did better than you guys on the trivia section. That definitely was a hard question but somehow I managed to guess Mark Jackson, Avery Johnson, Stockton/Malone, and Steve Kerr. I was wrong on a few and I really forgot about Reggie 🤦🏾♂️ and I wasn’t sure if Rod played against Kareem but I thought about him!
My reaction to 76ers – Nets? Refs are horrible. All you got to see is the "foul" on Embid against Irving. Embid did not touch him a bit, but Kyrie falls down. The refs assume he is fouled, because he falls down. how does an athlete like that fall down on its own? Guess what refs, it happens here and there. They do this always. They don`t see anything but ASSUME it got to be like that. Also out of bounce calls are so horrible every season, so many mistakes by the refs.. come on…

With Rui, adding Heild and Turner, definitely makes the Lakers a championship caliber team with LeBron James leading them. Turner, AD, LBJ, Reeves and Schroeder. Then, Beverly, Walker, Brown, Rui and Christie (if he is continually developed) l, they can win it all the way LBJ is playing now. The buy out market can add to this.

how does getting Buddy and Myles not make Lakers a champ contender. It certainly makes them a contendor to win the west so therefore a championship contendor. Id take a starting 5 of Dennis Buddy Bron AD Turner with a bench of Reaves, Lonnie Walker, Rui, and Thomas Bryant. AD and Myles would rival bucks for best defensive frontcourt in the league, each averaging 3 blocks, and you have the ultimate equaliser in lebron obviously. I think west is wide open, and if they get buddy and myles they could just as easily get to finals as anyone else in that conference. Already beat nuggets and grizz w/o AD

I think the Nets can keep Ben on the floor more in the fourth when KD and Kyrie are available. Because KD takes such a load off offensively. You can really avoid putting any offensive requirements on Ben and just let him pass and defend. However, maybe he doesnt get the last 2-3 minutes of a game due to poor free throw shooting if you're going to foul him
