Jokic lives in Embiids head rent free. I wonder if Jokic ever thinks about Embiid.

Jokic would vote for Embiid just so Jokic doesn't get interrupted with the MVP trophy while he's tending his horses in Serbia.
The issue with Embiid, although hes the better defender, he provides nothing else to the team if hes not scoring the basketball. Yes he can grab boards, but he's not like Jokic who can have an off night scoring but give you 10-16ast and win the game that way
They would have played a lot more times than 6 by now if Embid wasn’t ALWAYS conveniently out when they play Denver

Embiids last win vs jok was 4 years ago lol. He ducked jokic for 3 straight years. Last year's matchup between them was the first one since 2019
They are both excellent players, but Jokic has much better passing ability….

I respect Shelburne as a journalist and reporter. But when she ventures into actually analyzing games and evaluating players, she's out of her depth. She's very clearly an LA and (for reasons I don't understand) a Philly homer. And has been for years. I'm from LA originally so I understand the Lakers blindness. Embiid has ducked 3 of the last 4 meetings with Jokic. That's just a fact. Oh, yeah, he's been 'injured,' as he always is. Jokic is simply a better and far more durable player. People that aren't as obviously biased as Shelburne understand that which is why he's a 2X MVP with a very strong chance for a third MVP. The outcome of this game won't change any of that.
He should take it personally he was robbed of getting the mvp last year LOL. Embiid's Team had the better record he led the league in scoring, he plays way better defense than Jokic.
Last time Jokic &: Embiid played against each other Nuggets coach played Jokic against DeAndre Jordan majority of the time when Embiid was on the bench. Lol
Nikola Jokić is writing a thesis on the topic – How to set up the team's defense when the winger does not play defense and when the defense of a 4-man team is defending against a 5-man striker. Jokic has written a lot of pages so far, all that remains is to explain why such a winger plays, is he unreliable and dysfunctional. Now Jokic is asking for advice from coach MM, MM does not know and cannot help Jokic nor can he explain why such a player plays in general – that is the last information
They both should be more concerned about making it at least to the conference finals and beyond.
