Toronto Raptors Media Availability | Post Game at Golden State Warriors | January 27, 2023
Fred VanVleet and Nick Nurse speak with the media following the Raptors 117-129 loss to the Golden State Warriors. 00:00 – Nick Nurse 06:53 – Fred VanVleet
Y’all don’t know how easy it could be for us to start next year with 1 of these 3 lineups and a very solid bench may this FO stop clinging onto mediocrity🙏
My dad was always a big believer in taking control of your life and not being a victim. He would always say, 'In life, you're a shooter or a victim.' He believed that if you took charge of your life and didn't let anyone else control it, you would be successful.
I pray we blow the team up, we have to get bad before we can be great and no one wants to admit it. Our older guys aren’t cutting it we have to flip them for picks. Idk about y’all but I’d rather watch us be great for 10-15 years rather then try to be competitive the next 2-3.
There should be NO negative comments, the Toronto Raptors last night balled their asses off…especially with OG going down. In no way did GSW look better than us last night. They won but we were the better team. End of discussion.
The big line up did not look the same with OG out and Pascal in. I was hoping that the big line up would be able to take advantage of their size/length but they really couldn’t handle the warriors speed
Pascal rarely has a weak offensive game. Almost never. There were shots around the rim by multiple players (not just Pascal) that should have gone down. I enjoyed watching this game…disappointed they lost, and certainly bummed OG got hurt. But proud of the Raptors regardless.

Siakam really let the lack of calls and his offensive game impact his defense. Disappointing. Dude went 8-26 from the field too 🤮🤮🤮
One thing I loved about Kyle Lowry was his fighting spirit, he took losing as disrespect.
Our two leaders now Siakam is soft, and Fred only cares about Fred. They don’t take losing personal enough to say not tonight.
This is going to start rubbing off on our young core until losing is a habit.
Nick Nurse promised us a playoff fight on this trip, it looked like a casual preseason game.
Once GS got a 6pt lead, somehow, I knew it was done.

BLOW IT UPPPPP

you score 117 pts no defense
FVV need to stop saying he's the leader of the team and just lead the team.
Siakam is so inconsistent just like his buddy fvv…
Time to trade Fred and pascal .
Anyone knows how many TO our pg had last night?
Edited: other than curry chicken blowing by him?
Pascal has got to go. No way he is first option. Lowest IQ on the team with the highest touches!

NN is a horrible coach! The fact that he allows Pascal this much freedom is a HUGE problem
PASCAL lost us this game 💯💯
Masai & Bobby, trade Fred ASAP before he's on another long slump!!! He's always inconsistent. Don't trust him.
The siakam fvv era in Toronto is nearing its end
Nick looks so lost with Doug Smith in the beginning hahaha
