You can tell Wiseman is really listening, trying to soak up the knowledge. I think Wiseman on the Rockets or Pistons would look like the #2 pick that he is, but being a center (as many have documented) on the Warriors is an unintuitive role. Give him time.

Call me crazy but I still think wiseman has a future here. Idk what Kerr is doing but, since we’ve already committed to the two timelines approach, I can’t think of a player we’re going to be in a position to get who can have the level of potential that wiseman does.

everytime im mad at wiseman for being our 2nd overall draft pick, im always reminded that his draft class was pretty weak and even looking back, he’s prolly the best option for us at that number 2 pick, especially if we constrict ourself by refusing to pick PGs. Hawks’ okongwu? Desmond Bane? (but there’s no way that we could have foresee this desmond bane), mcdaniels probably. That’s it. The rest of the good ones are PGs in maxey and hali, even they werent as highly touted. So i think we couldn’t blame the FO that much for this pick, maybe the could have traded down or traded it away, but that would have been a tough decision.
damn it, why is there no bigs like AD, KAT, embiid when we’re picking 2nd overall man…We could have really added another superstar there. Instead, we’re stuck with this kid who can’t stay healthy and look lost every time he touches the floor. ngl, im starting to give up on him and wouldn’t be oppose to trading him away and let him be someone else’s problem (or blessing). Just give back a solid rotational player tho.

I really appreciate guys like Donte and Pritchard (on the Celtics) for being great listeners and I would imagine the guys asking the most questions in film study/team meetings (so that guys like Wiseman don’t feel embarrassed for having the same question and asking it and possibly receiving criticism for having a question which should be below his projected potential) which helps them impart knowledge like this in real time. Same stuff in college classes happens, kids have questions but are afraid to ask and if you’re lucky some kid in class will ask every question you think is stupid so that no one else has to worry about it.
