This is getting crazy. So many implications. Wonder how this will be addressed.

Damn if it’s already happening at Caesar’s its gonna be pulled from board across the country I’m no time. NBA will have to address this asap. Pretty wild to see, but it’s awesome that a sports fan can just casually notice these issues call em out and cause it to be fixed. Too bad that doesn’t happen with actual societal problems eh..

What this tells me more than anything is that DPotY voting is based more on stats than on actually watching games. There’s far, far more to defense than blocks and steals. Hell, a good contest and a defensive rebound is often more useful than a hellacious block where the opposing team retains possession. This explains a lot about why rim protectors keep winning DPotY over much, much more deserving players though. Rim protectors will always put up the most stats, but it doesn’t make them the best defensive players, they just have the most opportunities to accrue counting stats.

Keep this in mind when arguing over MVP and other awards. It’s clear that voters aren’t even watching games.

Payton said the home teams do this and have been doing it for years. Stockton and his stats. GP said they upped his steals in home games.
