Daily Discussion Thread : [Rules](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/wiki/rules#wiki_daily_discussion_thread)
So anything interesting happening in the sub today?
r/conspiracy can’t compete with us
Guys I’m visiting New York in March and would love to catch a game, unfortunately when I’m there the Knicks don’t play so I’m going to catch a Nets game.
Is the best way to get the tickets ahead of time or will they be cheaper the day of the game itself?
Also is any particular site the best or should I just use SeatGeek?
As soon as 538 puts out their article on this JJJ thing, you know it has jumped the shark.
Total non-NBA fan here who got pulled in by another thread. Can someone give me the run down on this stats thing? Is the accusation that team statisticians are fudging the stats they submit?
Player plays better at home than on the road
Reddit: Yeah, but this post though
damn no privacy for MPJ
i think what we need is RJ trying his hand at being a statistician. he’s already tried refereeing, so it could be pretty interesting/educational.
Where were you when the nba world changed forever because some kid on r/nba looked at analytics
[Take that for data](https://media3.giphy.com/media/lZnNnOEqXVVyU/giphy.gif)
Idk about y’all but I just, can’t find the will to care about whether JJJ is getting an extra stock per game or not. Like this isn’t a Tim donaghy situation, worst case he wins an end of year award undeservedly – something that happens every year anyways
Kinda sad JJJ wasn’t playing today. Was looking forward to one last easy over
I feel like the main lesson to be learned from the JJJ situation is not that the NBA is running some elaborate conspiracy to get him the DPOY, but instead that we hold blocks and steals in much higher regard than we should lmao
I doubt we learn about astroturfing this week
Embiid really beat Simmons and kyrie and then cooked Jokic, hes never gonna let us hear the end of it
Where did the nuggets game go from here
Kyrie still got it!
Is it just me or has NBA been getting more boring of a product? I can hardly watch a full game these days. Leads barely matter anymore. Offense is mostly chucking 3s or getting wide open layups after moving screens.
I’ve been enjoying college basketball more and more this year surprisingly, when I never really enjoyed it much before. It just seems a lot more… natural. I don’t feel like refs are involved. Anyone else feel this way?
Just want it on the record Zach Lowe is not watching the Lakers/Celts game because he’s sitting next to me at a restaurant.
