dang the celtics fans are split on the lebron foul

It feels like the majority of them are unrepentant about the win, like zero sympathy with a healthy dose of “fuck the Lakers” and “fuck LeBron”

I guess I understand the sentiment, but the terrible refereeing is bad for basketball as a whole. Really seems like the classic “fuck you, I got mine” attitude, which is disappointing considering every single other fan base is outraged by the egregious refereeing.

To be fair, I also wasn’t a sports fan growing up, so I’m definitely not as emotionally attached to the successes of my teams as many lifelong fans. It’s also a fool’s errand to look for level-headed takes on reddit, but I’m not too sure that the feelings of the overall Celtics fanbase are that different from what I’m seeing on Reddit/Twitter, especially when accounting for the context of the Lakers-Celtics rivalry for this game.
