Missing: Sacramento Kings Offense | Locked On Kings

Matt George recaps the Sacramento Kings loss to the Timberwolves, where for the 2nd straight game the offense really struggled. Fourth quarter De’Aaron Fox is great, but what about the first three quarters?

  1. I think they will be fine and that it's growing pains….I feel like they are “trying” to put so much effort on being better defensively that maybe they lose some energy of the offensive end…we have to allow them this time and not get too critical when they let us down…thats how I felt about this game. Keep working Kings if we can get the D in Look line without losing offense…that would be the sweet spot! Love ya Matt but I think your being a bit tough on them on this game. Let's Go!

  2. Mike Brown has more practices, and they are longer practices than any other NBA coach. Wonder if it's turning into mental and/or physical fatigue?

  3. I am not going to expect any major changes this year. If they can get into the playoffs I'm happy. I don't want Monte to throw away resources by making a move that doesn't help in building a strong team. I think Toronto and Minnesota took a page out of old school Spurs playbook. Restrict shot opportunities to the kings and keep them from being 3 point efficient. Defend and out rebound and win the points in the paint. Fox needs to end quarters strong, that would be something to strategize.

  4. I'd take Fox over Anthony Edward's any day of the week. I love it myself when the teams star player let's the team keep it close and then they win it in the 4th. That's what Reggie Miller and Michael Jordan did damn near every game. I like Fox playing like that myself. This team has plenty of other players capable of scoring. At the same time I didn't watch the game so you might have a point. But I'd take Fox scoring 20 points in the 4th 82 games out of 82.

  5. fucking pathetic… kings need to pretend like theyre making millions and show up to p[lay these road games. ridiculous

  6. This offense is operating without a true number-one threat. Fox and Sabonis are acting as the 2nd and 3rd choices. Complimentary pieces. But neither is playing like they can take over the game. A true team number 1 should be able to carry this team on these nights. They needed 40, 50 points from either Fox or Sabonis. Such as any of the top 15 scorers in this league can do.

  7. Love 💕 your work Mr. First name Last Name ( Matt George) but don't start talking 🦜 about putting up missing posters for their offense because this is that "Kings Basketball 🏀"that you've been lovingly admiring all season, don't get bent out of shape about them now. I live in Chicago, but I love how much you love the Kings, let's see some unwavering commitment, LETS GO KINGS 👑👑

  8. I think it's a lack of go getters at the moment. How many times the kings passed up great shots. I think their being a little passive & and not aggressive. My opinion

  9. Fox was missing shots in the first quarter and second and finally just willed his shots by becoming fourth quarter Fox ! He was unstoppable in fourth quarter. It’s still a long season no reason to hit panic button.

  10. 13:54 kings not a better team talent wise then mn. There missing all nba , all star, player in kat and key role players like prince and jmac.kings have been very fortunate with injuries this year wait tell this wolves, roster gets fully healthy yall don't want to see them come playoffs.

  11. Kings will be fine, I’m encouraged with the defense they played all game to Minnesota until the 4th, offense has to get back into gear. What makes me upset is the fact that the topic of poor officiating is now a point of emphasis because it happened to the lakers, and not the countless times it’s happened to the kings. It’s like when the spoiled kid gets upset on what they got for Christmas when us kings fans get nothing.

  12. I will say that fox has played hard throughout the whole game and then starts missing in the 4th i.e. Utah jazz game

  13. We need it more throughout the game tho 💯 keep up the 🔥 content Matty McQueen 🫡

  14. If shots aren’t falling, attack the rim. Get to the line. Kings try to shoot their way out of their slump and begin to fall behind quickly because they have unreliable defense.

  15. THE FUNK HAS TO END NOW…OR THIS WILL BE A DISAPPOINTING ROAD TRIP. . IM CONFIDENT OUR BOYS WILL BOUNCE BACK

  16. I am very frustrated after this game. I really hate the tired legs excuse for this team especially for Fox. You know who has never been playing meaningful games in April May or June…..its Fox and the Kings. And we hadn't played since Wednesday and Wolves on a back to back. Kayte C was making all these excuses about Fox being worn down ahead of the all star break and I sure hope that Brown has changed that excuse culture inside the locker room. I root harder for Swipa than any other player in the league and I think he has superstar talent but he is far too passive for long stretches when this team needs him to come out and set the tone. I even feel like he has been getting more respect from officials over the last month or so but he CANNOT wait for the 4th quarter to bring the energy. Brown is playing him for shorter spurts than ever which I hated for a long time but it is what it is. 6min in the 1st quarter so come out lead from the jump. And as teams try and take away more of Sabonis actions we need him to attack the basket and get those paint touches for us before the 4th
