Lakers aren’t the only that didn’t because of a non call on last shot attempt. Huerter was fouled by Klay in our 1st/2nd meeting against SacTown this yr, no whistle and we won. DeRozan was clearly fouled by some Cavs player (LeVert) on the game winning shot.Even Lakers(Westbrook and LeBron himself) had lane violation on Brandon Clarke’s game tying FT, no whistle there either.
All this outrage isn’t due to officiating, it’s due to Lakers and LeBron being the victims. Officials holding their whistle for last shot/offensive foul or sometimes blowing for a phantom foul isn’t anything new. “Refs allow more physicality in the playoffs” my ass, tell that to Curry’s 5th and 6th foul in Game 6. Wtf would I care about Lakers when we were robbed in a championship game
They’ll cry about illegal screens and stuff but would ignore their own team doing that. No team wants their weakest defender to switch onto LeBron/Luka or similar players. So teams set illegal screens, grabbing/hooking the primary defender to force the switch. Every big man sets multiple illegal screens every game, be it Lopez, Domas, Bam, Draymond, Poeltl, Adams. They cry only for GSW due to our success and Bogut being stupid.
