Was at the game last night. They looked disinterested and/or demoralized. Major coaching changes need to happen up to and including replacing coach Casey. Sad to say, because they're obviously in tank mode and I really do like coach C. It's time to move on. Killian has some soul searching to do. I saw energy and effort at times from most of the guys, but it was misguided, telling me that Coach isn't getting through to some of these guys.
Smurph, just some friendly advice buddy. Don't call people morons for being negative if you're going to come out with videos like this. I'm still a supporter, just offering some constructive criticism.
I still believe in them. We knew what this year was gonna be. But they need a real kick in the ass. Bring In whoever you gotta bring in to talk to them and remind them what it means to be a Detroit piston. The Isiah Thomas probably can’t stand to watch them rn man. Any past pistons who won here probably gets sick watching their effort at times. They need to be reminded what it means to play like a DETROIT PISTON.

Have some players started to tune Casey out? That loss was inexcusable. They held the lead in the final minute but just couldn’t make a play.
very well said Sean!!.Let me just say i am a fan of Detroit Pistons for decades , borne and grown in Greece, loved the bad boys , proud fan of 2004 team and the following years last 3 years had good choices, good picks, you want to see the team effort !!In most of the games losses come without effort. Play well and loose we say in Europe .Here coach D.C would be gone by now ND THE questions is when are we gonna see Detroit Piston Defence , teamwork, chemistry and effort again??Are we??I am also an Olympiakos Piraeus fan who currently lead and have the most competent european basketball team last 2 years. Guess where that competence comes from.. DEFENCE !!They move the ball like best in Euroleage
but defence keeps them 1st ,team spirit and effort are so strong too , bench play better than starters in many games!!.I would love to see that from a Pistons team again..Will not happen with coach D.C . though despite he looks like a good man

Casey is not a good Coach, he does not understand team chemistry, secondly, he is not a motivator. I would give him a grade D. And yes unfortunately Duren has been disappointing on the defensive end in the paint.
When Casey was in Toronto, he received coach of the year. He was fired. They won a championship the next year.
Casey seems to be a stable coach and good man all around. Why do I get this feeling that he's not a championship coach? How long does Detroit watch him be a stable fatherly figure but not produce teams that get better every year? Probably need to think about moving off of him, as good of a guy as he is in life.
Worst case scenario is we end up with the #2 pick and get yet another guard. I sooo want to end up with either the #1 pick or the #3 pick. If we end up with scoot, we have to trade Killian and bench Ivey and our wing situation is still not addressed. Bottom line, idk if tanking is the best way forward. Cam Whitmore maybe even Brandon miller should be available around #5. Let’s just win games at this point.
I wish the Pistons would make a move for Cam Reddish. I think he would be a valuable add especially if it is only for a 2nd round pick or 2.
Also, we need to lift the blinders on Isaiah Stewart. He is not a good defender.
It’s not the players it’s Casey
No need to make mid season changes, save if for the summer. This season is lost already and by standing pat we're in play for a high draft pick. It is what it is at this point. But also, unlike the past few years with Jeremi Grant. I don't think this team has a true on court leader, and it's worsened by not having Cade. I know it's easy to complain about how bad we are. But I just don't think this roster as currently constructed can be any better. We're just wasting our time nitpicking. All we can do now is just wait for the offseason to reset.
