It’s obvious he needs to be playing with a stretch big in the front court. Paint is too clogged. Not enough spacing on the court for him to be himself offensively.
There’s a reason the Bucks went and got Brook Lopez when the saw Giannis struggled scoring outside the paint.

I really do think the playoff game against Atlanta Hawks broke Ben Simmons. He really is scared to shoot. It really is sad that he is reduced to this. He was my favorite player on the Sixers. I simply can not believe how he is playing for the Nets. Very Sad and Disappointed for the players and especially the fans.

Disagree with Shay here. Not every player on the floor should be considered a scoring option. Simmons is just too expensive for him not to be a scoring option. Not many one way defensive options make nearly $20m a year.
When Simmons was at LSU I said he wouldnt be good in the nba. He had one good year everything else has been trash. Everyone was saying Lebron I was saying Lamar Odom. At this point i was being disrespectful to Odom.

Simmons at this point SHOULD NOT BE in the NBA. He is not qualified. Ben Simmons has to be the WEIRDEST CASE in NBA history for a player to fall off for no reason. He can shoot left and right handed, he can dribble but he simply panics and is determined to not try to shoot. Overall he plays terrified, but there are glimpses of true potential. He just isn't going to unlock it. He can't even make good passes. His jump shot is horrible. He is not a playmaker, and his defense pretty much sucks too. Overall, he sucks, but damn he does have potential if he'd just shoot and get a better IQ. Whoever he is taking minutes from must be really mad at the coach.
I don't think scoring is the problem for Ben…It is confronting his demons at D free throw line…This guy's got PTSD. He needs therapy
They also took him out in the 4th quarter so we didn’t play hack a Ben and set him back mentally 10 years once he missed every shot while the fans laughed at him! 😂
