  1. I would be SHOCKED if they trade Fred Vanvleet. For years they did the same thing with Kyle Lowry. Even a lot of fans were expecting a trade and it didn't happen until very late into his career. Same with Pascal where the media thought Pascal was as good as gone and it never happened. Most of the time, Masai and Bobby keep their intentions under the radar. There were times where the fans were expecting trades and they indeed happen (Norman Powell, Lowry at the end of his career). I am on the other side of the fence and say Masai won't trade Fred but we will never know until something officially happens.

  2. The only FVV trade I could see happening is FVV to the heat for Lowry and probably 2 first round picks. The clippers and lakers would have strong interest in FVV, but neither have the assets to get him

  3. According to chris Haynes from yahoo, the raptors and clippers are in advance stage of trading van fleet for Terrance Mann , # 1. , Covington, and Reggie Jackson

  4. Trade Fred sadly for a decent return including draft picks…..and sign Mac Mclung from the Delaware G-league team.

  5. Fred Vanvleet just one of a couple players that with a combination of age/injury concerns/upcoming pay days that trading him in order to tank seems like a solid plan.

  6. The trade deadline is the only time the NBA media pays attention to the Raptors.

  7. The problem with FVV is that he's not very good. He makes a lot and has had good seasons, but realistically why trade much for a guy who is one of the least efficient scorers in the league and doesn't defend? How is that a move forward for any team unless he somehow takes a Westbrook 6th man type of role (which he isn't). I don't see what team needs his skills

  8. In my opinion I think Fred should be traded to a good team 🤔🤔 even tho I’m not a fan of Fred but i know he’s a good player
