  1. I don’t understand how an intelligent analyst can assert that Lebron’s way to emote was ridiculous, and not explain the “proper” way Lebron was supposed to emote. I think if he actually tried to explain it, he’d find that his assertion is ridiculous and can’t be backed by sufficient evidence.

  2. I have Jokic WAY ahead of Giannis for MVP right now. If Jokic actually finishes above 70% TS for the year he needs to win unanimously.

  3. While I can somewhat agree that the players right now are probably more talented, let's not try to downplay 08 or the 2000s. LeBron was good but Kobe was honestly the only guy that was ahead of everybody. And just as how you named multiple guys today, don't let the recent bias make you forget about Howard, Duncan, Wade, KG and I'm sure if I go back and rewatch games from that era I can remember and drop in more names to that. I'm not a fan of present reporters trying to act like this is the only era where several guys are playing well. Even in Jordan's era there was a bunch. Apart from that, this was a good video.

  4. Another important point people usually skip is that , development in medical field, training methods and social behaviors etc…. That’s why it makes sense to compare eras….

  5. Like another commentor mentioned, it seems so many forget how many great players there were in prior decades. The 2000s had KG, Duncan, Kobe, who was mentioned, D-Wade (all in their primes), and Dwight Howard who was a beast in the middle 2000s. If you put an exact year (like 2008), then a case can be made that Lebron was the best player that season. But I don't think it is as clear cut as many wish it to be. And for the 90s, I don't know why analysts keep downplaying players from other eras by either calling them "plumbers" or by suggesting they were less athletic (which most people use a very narrow definition of what athleticism is). 90s B-ball had Barkley, Hakeem, Shaq, Grant Hill, Mutombo, Ewing, Gary Payton, Stockton, Reggie Miller, Drexler, Malone, and David Robinson (too name just a few). It's a no brainer to say that there is a lot of great talent in the NBA today and I'm a fan of many of these players (Giannis, Curry, Lillard, Embiid, etc). But there was a lot of athleticism and talent in prior decades too… let's not forget that.

  6. MJ was 100% as crazy as all the docs show him to me. Put him in 2020? He isn't gambling/drinking/staying out late. He's doing all the stuff Lebron is doing now, if not more. Winning mattered to that guy more than anything else in life. Even family. I'm not saying that's right or wrong, just the facts. He'd be even scarier today. Oh…and he would have a better 3…he would have learned that shot as a child and not midway through his NBA career. Easy 40 a season if Luka is putting in 33 this year.

  7. Giannis is the mvp.. no Middleton no jrue all year. He’s averaging 32, 12, 5, 1 & 1. And bucks are 2 games from the best record in the NBA.. he’s done everything necessary up to this point & he should be in first place, I don’t understand the arguments against him

  8. You lost me when you said "like Giannis is starting to separate himself now." Last time i checked, Jokic just won MVP the past 2 years and is the current favorite to win his 3rd straight, and is in a real tight race with several other players, Freak included. I'm as big a fan of Antetokounmpo as you but, how in the world is he separating himself from the pack? If anything, this era is more like the 80s, where you had several great players vying for top dog, but with no one really standing out (with due apologies to fans of His Airness but, this really wasn't his decade yet).

  9. Giannis has been missing Middleton all year, Holiday has missed a ton of guys, Bobby portis out Pat C has been out. I mean basically Giannis has been missing his 2 5 7 8 in terms of rotation guys all year. Still second seed in the east. There really isn't even a debate here.

  10. To mention lebron as a competitor isn't needed its widely known. But to say this game was taken away from him (which it was, clearly) doesn't mention the mountains of calls that go his way because of the name on his back.

  11. Giannis combination of being a top three defender and a top three offensive player should make him an MVP lock every year!

  12. This guy's logic is solely based on stats. Number one the warriors aren't going to play their starting five for 48 minutes every game in the playoffs, so throw that out the window. Number two the fact that their numbers are better than any other starting five in the league isn't a testament to anything because their record is really terrible. Number three the Lakers are not going to make the playoffs bro, I don't know what more evidence you need to see. There's too many IFS that need to happen

  13. so based on your logic between 2008 Lebron and 2023 Doncic, Bob Cousy is better all-time than Chris Paul…? I knew immediately that at the end of your logic curve, you will bring in the Mj-Lebron comparioson to defend MJ based on your logic, which was totally unnecessary…Jordan in the 90s was way better than everyone else, just like Lebron in 2010s…..stop fooling around, so neither of them has an advantage there…..the difference? Lebron was waaaay better than everyone else in a much better league, the 90s was one of the weakest decade ever due to expansions….cannot deny the fact….Jordan just happened to have the best team by far!!!!!! over the 90s, whilst Lebron did not in the 2010s…..simple as that. Conclusion as always, yes, Lebron is better than Jordan

  14. Refs should've called Lebron for Traveling cause that's what he did first 🤷🏾‍♂️

  15. There’s literally nothing Embiid could do to win the MVP. The powers that be will refuse to give him it for whatever reason they deem fit.

  16. Jason is such a great analysis but Jesus Christ the lakers are not going anywhere this season and this man always finds some way to talk about them
