  1. Heard a Pacers fan on a Laker podcast that said they should’ve traded Myles Turner and Hield for first round picks from LA so they can start Mathurin. He believes Rick is too old school of a coach because anyone with a player picked 6 overall putting up his numbers would and should be starting already.

  2. Turner realized he not going to the lakers no more since TB is a beast now, so he opted to get his bag🤝

  3. If the Indy trades him, the team getting him will gain his bird rights lol Rob 👀

  4. This is the same guy who said the lakers there is no way that they won't make the playoffs last year he doesn't know anything about basketball and I guarantee you Philadelphia will not make it to the finals

  5. The Pacers are forever going to be mediocre. I have no idea why I still follow this team. One bad move after another.

  6. This was the Lakers best option to truly improve this year and put all the chips in. I am curious how Lebron is going to act if the Lakers don't trade those picks

  7. He got a 20 mil bonus + 2 year 40 mill extension. And still can get traded, great deal for both sides.

  8. That's actually dumb for the Pacers. They could have keep his salary and made it a 3 years extension.

I disagree on the bigs. Gobert, Towns and Porzingis all have huge or max dollars contracts.

  9. A Pacers post from ESPN….. amazing. Pacers are choosing mediocrity by extending Myles Turner. My Pacers will never contend for a championship

  10. Since Turner is still trade eligible after this.. and bumped Turner’s salary for this year at $35M. Meaning the team would have to march salary at that range if they want to trade for Turner.

Now that being said, the Lakers can trade for 2 picks & Russ for Turner and Suns can also trade Ayton for Turner with a 1st Rd pick from the Pacers.

  11. can still be moved only 2 years could impact a lot of teams the hawks could need him heat mavs clippers

  12. so maybe a team wanting to trade for him wanted security, like not loosing him in an offseason, he likes a destination so he agrees?

  13. Great deal for turner ensuring he doesn’t leave for nothing.. and is trade eligible still but at 35 mil that means trade to the nets for Harris or even to Miami for Duncan Robinson is no longer possible… so unless he gets traded next season for another 20 mil player or multiple players could the pacers be buyers? Having approximately 25 mil in cap next year could they entice demar derozan to opt out his player uptown for a 2/55 2/60 year deal

    Halliburton
    Hield
    Derozan
    Neismith
    Turner

    Duarte
    Mathurin
Draft pick ( probably a PG or PF like terquavion smith or Taylor Hendricks or Kris Murray)

All of a sudden it would be nice for them to be firmly cemented the next two years as a 5-7 instead of a play in team…

  14. That's right keep Myles Turner he's a baller keep miles here with this young core going to make some noise congratulations Turner you earned it you earned it

  15. I love this move. I would all day every day take Turner over Ayton. No clue why they tried to sign Ayton to a near max contract but refuse to do so with Turner. Even this contract proves they dont want to.

  16. Can’t even lie he been balling even tho I felt like he was overrated def been ballin lately

  17. My Lakers should go for a trade since he’s locked in for next 3 years. Trade Russ and two first rounders for Turner and Hield. Them and Rui would be nice and Russ don’t really fit

  18. Hey LA we don't want your trash washed-up Westbrook and your first round picks LA's trash we don't want it
