The win was cool and all but I’m kinda not a fan of how we keep letting these middling teams back into the game. Maintaining a 17 point halftime lead shouldn’t be this hard.
Who schedules a Denver game as the backend of a b2b?!? I expect big minutes from the reserves
If they can play pls let them, season is so fast were past halfway already, cant afford that win lose win lose type of mentality right now,
And we have another bigman hope we can USE him.
SGA might be the hardest defensive assignment in the league. He plays at 50% speed, then hits the afterburners, but still has the body control to go in whatever direction he needs.
Not going to find an SGA-type on the trade block, but that’s the element we’re missing on offense—the “go get a bucket” from mid-range to the rim.
Steph does this more in the playoffs, but it’s hard for 6’3 guard to do that consistently.
I have a fantasy…. We move up to the 3 seed, and the Kings fall to 6th (let’s be honest; that 2nd part is likely- they’re the Kings!). Vanquish them in a well played series. Let’s call it 6 games.
Then beat team “dynasty”, ideally in 5. No dynasty still, yet, or ever.
Then face the likely #1 seed and their vaunted MVP, who’s likely to win his 3rd straight. Take them out. Again.
In the Finals….wait for it….Philly. so they lose all 3 major sports championships in a row.
Klaymen.
Playoffs have already started, IMO. This clustering in the west is unusual. If we beat the Timberwolves, will be interesting to see if anyone rests at Denver. I’m guessing Kerr plays a very short bench until the All Star break.
Good gritty win from the team
Kuminga’s defense on SGA was stellar esp in the 1st half before the reps decided that they’re going to call the lightest of shits in the world to keep making SGA look good idk. That turnaround jumper from the midrange has been looking good as well. Idk about the numbers but i feel like the Kuminga-Steph duo that ends the 1st quarters usually end on a run and has been really great
Donte being the all around great player that he is
Loon and Dray turning the defensive masterpieces on when it matters most
Wiggs has still a lot to recover, but a fair game for him
Classic splash brothers close out win
Props for JP for doing well defensively and hitting good timely shots

Let’s be honest. We have two options with the closing lineup. You either go with Looney and that starting five that has one ofvthe best net ratings going… or you hot hand it between the group of Looney Donte Kuminga Poole.
Me… I think it’s Looney atw. They guy is a winner and probably the steadiest hand on the team. You give up some shooting but you add toughness decision making defense and NO TURNOVERS. Emphasis on no turnovers.

I wanted to see if Poole was turning the ball over more than last year so I looked up the stats and he turned the ball over 187 times last season and halfway through this one he already has 171 💀
😂our roster is so weird .I’m fine with most of the young player but did we need Rollins .If Jmg is not in the rotation.Our “biggest player”technically is our 20 year old forward and he primarily is on the the perimeter
