Pritchard has seen a decrease in minutes per game this season after the trade for guard Malcolm Brogdon. Even before the interview, he was heavily involved in Celtics trade rumors. Payton Pritchard (on playing a bigger role):
“It’s obviously what I work for. I think that’s what Brad and them know, too. We’ve had that discussion but — a bigger role. I want to be part of a winning culture but I want to also help that, be a really big piece of that. I’m not saying it’s the best player on the team but I don’t know what my future holds unless I can take that next step. I don’t know what it is in five or 10 years but I just want to look back and know that I put my best foot forward. I put all the work in so whatever happens I can live with as long as I did it my way. That’s the most important thing for me.”

    Although it’s unrealistic, (Celtics will not take back this much in cap) and a huge swing…I love this team literally for all sides it’s a win-win. Puts the Celtics over the top, helps the raptors recalibrate with huge pieces/ assets. puts the spurs in full reset mode/ assets

    Just some ideas idk if any of these will work or would even be a good idea. Payton to Utah for Vanderbilt straight up or either a 2rp on either end? Maybe take a shot and sign Willie Cauley-Stein for the low for frontcourt depth and cut Jackson? Try to add Justin Holiday, Jae Crowder, or Cam Reddish?
