  1. You know why the media discredits Lebron like this? It’s simple he proclaimed he was greater than Jordan and these media heads don’t like him for that. Just take a look at Skip Bayless and you will understand what I mean

  2. It's because his team sucks and they're in the basement. That's obvious and Nick is just conveniently ignoring it.

  3. You may disagree with Nick on a lot of things, but he is right about everybody downplaying Lebron's accomplishments.

MJ is the goat. But Lebron is in the tier below MJ, with Kobe. The 3 faces of the NBA who maintained the popularity of the game for 3 decades.

Lebron should be celebrated as much as MJ and Kobe.

  4. I think it's literally just Bron fatigue Bron has been the center of the basketball world for atleast 16 yrs people just getting tired of talking about him ans the ones that still want to talk about him aren't fans of him on a national media level

  5. Nick's not wrong, but a lot of people projected Bron to break the record around March "after football season" but since Bron's been on a tear he's gonna break it around or after the Super Bowl so hopefully it'll get the coverage it deserves. I doubt it but we'll see

  6. Idiot.
    It's not close yet.
    When he does break it
    It will be big.
    Facts Jordan hurts first year
    2 years of college basketball
    retired to play baseball.
Also Kareem did play for UCLA so is he really breaking
It.or is he just on the list.
    Because you can add Karen's
    College points to the records
    Less games too.
    So it's not an NBA
    Championship.smh

  7. ive been complaining about this too. Mahomes is kinda treated in the same way, where they search for any possible morsel to spin the narrative away from the obvious greatness. Kobe or anyone else and this would be international front page news. Football being at it's most important time of the year, with a whole crop of crazy good young players, is for sure taking some of it away from Bron, BUT STILL!!! He is top 4 in assists while scoring the most points ever. Like it's not even a question anymore. They need to drop a 20 part netflix doc to brainwash everyone like Jordan did. And Jordan for me is the best i've ever seen, but is not the best basketball player, if that makes any sense. I liked Vick could throw further than Brady, run like Dieon, but he wasn't a better Quarterback. Jordan took your breath away if you watch him live during that time, but he's not the best basketball player. Bron is Magic if magic could jump like Jordan. Bron can shoot, Magic couldn't. Bron been to like 10 straight finals or something dumb like that.

  8. Kareem started his career later than Labron. He is not the GOAT. If we take everything off the table, rings, championship winning percentage, stats, etc, MJ was an indomitable competitor, his tenacity, the way he played and his emotional investment in every game is something Labron can't be.

  9. If the Lakers were a decent seed, then I can see this being way more hyped up. I think the reason people aren’t as excited is because of their record.

  10. The league is suffering from Lebron fatigue Nick it is what it is , we want to be discussing steph,KD , luka ,Giannis, embid ,jokic and Ja morant. The era of Lebron is over. The NBA is just waiting for the retirement announcement so the younger generation can get their limelight

  11. Nick doesn't understand that accumulated numbers in basketball are irrelevant. There's just too much of them in a single game that counting them over a career is insane.

Basketball is a game of rhythm, so what matters is averages and percentages, NOT the sum of the numbers.

Lebron is obviously elite at averages since he's basically done 25 ppg for 20 seasons, THAT's the accomplishment, not the 38K points.
Lebron claim to fame is CONSISTENCY.

But he will never be better than Michael because (1) Michael is considerably ahead of him at averages, (2) STILL ahead of him in total individual trophies earned and (3) Michael didn't retire because he couldn't play, he retired because he didn't want to.

    Then there's the rings.

  12. It's not as hyped because he's not the GOAT. Everybody was hype for Steph because he's the greatest shooter ever and that record was cementing it. Lebron breaking that record isn't cementing anything besides he's been playing a long time.

  13. Nick is speaking facts. LeBron should be way more celebrated for breaking a 38 year scoring record. LeBron averaging 30 points a game in year 20 is phenomenal.

  14. ohhhh knick made a great point about what if this were kobe. Basically that says that popularity and likeability are a big criteria in the goat debate .

  15. Sports are changing befour your very eyes. Its no coincidence lebron james and Tom Brady can play at such high levels at an old age. Basketball is run n gun, all about shooting. Look at all the 50+ pt games. Football, you cant even cough on the QB.

  16. LeBron breaking Kareem's record should be a National Holiday. Don't come at me… lol

  17. Lebron is better than Jordan. Period. All that's life is Kareem…that's a more difficult debate

  18. Super sad that NFL season is almost over and I have to go the next 6 months not following FTF.

  19. When Lebron Pass Kareem, " He Will be TOP All Time Score for the REST of HUMAN Existence!!!😮😮💪💫 NOBODY will EVER pass Lebron , Durrant at #17, Harden at #27😄😄

  20. lebozo isn’t celebrated because he is not likable. He is passive aggressive(blaming teammates) and needy for validation(ie his fake book reading). he isn’t authentic

  21. The reason they aren't making a big deal about it is because bron has no real BS on his name other then the decision. Dude has been clean is whole career. The media hates that shi* because they have nothing to tear him down and allow him to rebuild himself using their media outlets.

  22. Kyrie still has a last chance to join King James next year when he become eligible as a free agent

  23. I don’t usually agree with Nick regarding his takes on Lebron but he is on point with this one. If this was the late great Kobe trying to break the record, the media are going to get bonkers talking about it.

  24. They hate to see Lebron succes… bcuz there jealous and cant belive that Lebron succeed the expectations.

  25. Nick is 1000% right. People were hyping Steph 3pt record like a championship. Meanwhile, Bron just made it to 4th all time in assist and will be the #1 scorer of all time. People won't appreciate LeBron until he is gone. He set the bar so high that it's causing this lack of limelight.
