The Tar Heels overcame a big comeback effort from the Orange to take their second road victory of the season, 72-68. Pete Nance paced the Tar Heels in scoring with a strong 21 points to go with 4 rebounds. Caleb Love had 15 points on an efficient 3-5 from beyond the arc along with 5 assists. Armando Bacot had 18 points and 8 rebounds in the win. For Syracuse, Joe Girard and Judah Mintz combined for 35 points.
