Do you really think that Billy is telling them to hero-ball the game away? What is he supposed to do, bench our two best players for iso’ing?

I wrote in essay in like 2012 for a high school class and for an example of a bad coach I used billy Donovan. It’s so fun how he’s litreraly our coach now

It was literally just Demar. It’s ok guys we’re allowed to criticize Demar without including Zach

  4. To be fair it worked when he was the coach in OkC with Durant and Westbrook lol

People say “oh what’s the coach supposed to do”

Phil Jackson called a timeout, and told the best player ever aggressively “Who’s open” multiple times until he passed to Paxson for the game winner.

To me it’s pretty clear that when it gets late in the game, with Lonzo out, DeMar and LaVine feel the need to take over and take every shot which I get but they get tunnel vision and therefore don’t get the ball to Vuc with mismatches or to Patrick when he’s playing well. The coach should use his timeouts to calm them down, identify the mistmarches and attack them and get everyone involved. But that’s not happening. Do you guys really think LaVine and DeRozan are maliciously not listening to Donovan and not giving the ball to Vucevic? To me clearly Donovan is either too dumb to recognize the mismatches and exploit them, or he sees them and just isn’t preaching it

Demar was +2 on the field tonight. Can’t say the same about a lot of other players.

This guy should have already been fired weeks ago! Too bad Noah isn’t already an assistant coach underneath him!

The worst was when we were up 19 in the second and he puts in that small ball lineup with DJJ at 5 on Zubot instead of Drummond. Immediate 6-0 run that extends to like a 20-4 run and were losing by half. At least he corrected it in the second half but DJJ just doesnt give u enough on offense to play that mismatch on the other end.
