its ok to be cocky as long as your losing. we liked arrogant booker when he was putting up 70 but still losing. but the moment someone becomes a threat that arrogance becomes annoying cause a guy will come in and say "your team sucks" and then proceed to beat your team and griddy on them… thats painful to watch. id rather lose to luka or giannis then lose to booker or ja morant.

Same thing happened with Phoenix suns last year. Or just like Chris Paul and Harden Rockets era. And just like the Harden/Westbrook/Durant OKC team. Or even the recent Utah jazz teams. All those teams talked hella trash and wherever they went they were targets. Just because none of these teams didn’t win a chip didn’t mean they weren’t amazing or dominant. Plus, its 100% true throughout the league’s history that big markets fans like to hate on smaller market teams.
