  1. Sure 76ers won the trade
but it was a perfect fit for both sides.
Ben just needs to play defense, grab rebounds and pass to the open shooter. He’s literally surrounded by shooters in every lineup outside of Claxton
    KD & Kyrie > Embiid & Harden
    Nets in 6

  2. When the trade happened, I thought it was a win win. Sixers needed a real point guard and #2 guy. Nets needed an elite defender. And even though I knew Simmons would become an above average role player and have way less impact offensively with Brooklyn, I felt his elite defense would be such a great fit for them. I thought Simmons would average 10ppg 8 rpg f and 8apg. But I didn't think he'd be this bad. I did know that he'd be a problem in the 4th qtr be especially come playoffs. Someone really tried to argue with me about that last season. Simmons will be better next season but not by much

  3. The most obvious take in ESPN's history, and that's saying something. As lazy as Harden is, and as bad as a defender that he can be, he's still loads better than the overpaid 10th man that is Ben Simmons. The Nets had to do something, I guess. It was the last time anyone will ever look at Simmons and think there is potential there.

  4. While Harden has receded slightly his contract is still a net plus meanwhile Simmons is overpaid

  5. Its not the worst things that can happen if James Harden wins a Championship say everything about him being a toxic in the locket not being a good leader and showing up not in shape before the season, the drama be brings, with all that, James Harden have put up historical incredible numbers, he is top 5 for sure when talking about the greatest OFFENSIVE BASKETBALL PLAYERS EVER… TAKE NOT NOT JUST ONE OF GREATEST SCORES BUT OFFENSIVE PLAYERS BECAUSE OF HIS ASSIST NUMBERS AND HOW HIS GAME WHEN UTILIZED EVEN IN THE LEAST OPTIMAL WAY HELPS THE TEAM MAKE EASIER BASKETS IN THE PICK ROLL AND HAND OFF SITUATIONS.

  6. the sixers could of gotten a ham sandwich for ben simmons and they would of won the trade hands down. cuz for the stats that ben is putting up, for the money he is trash. he is actually horrible cuz he is taking up valuable space for more talented role players/bench players. paying that dude super star money to get single digit numbers some of which is worst than a bench player.

  7. I wouldnt count the 76ers as winners yet if they dont win a chip. As far as toxicity goes, that's a big weight off their locker room. However, if Simmons can somewhat be ALL NBA and All Defensive as he did before, then I'd think the Nets would have won this

  8. Is there any question of who won the trade? Clearly the Nets lost big time in this trade.

  9. I’ll never get Harden leaving the nets bruh the nets with harden woulda been NASTY

  10. I wouldn't call that quiet quitting I was just call that trying to get fired anyway possible.

  11. harden forced nets to trade him …started to throw games unbelievable.. hope he never wins a thing and tears both acls while trying to brake down i-95

  12. Remember all the espn "experts" led by STEPHEN A saying Brooklyn won the trade 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  13. I mean 76ers won the harden trade is like me saying the earth is round… 99.9% of people agree and you get a small number of tin foil hats crying no…

  14. Ben Simmons quit on the 76ers after Doc exposed him
Now he's doing the same thing to the Nets after Vaughn called him out
Why is no one talking about this?

  15. If the Sixers/Nets beat a healthy Bucks or Celtics in the playoffs then I would believe what Brian is saying until then this is all just wishful thinking. The real game starts in playoffs, not in the regular season.

  16. Just the fact that James has adjusted his game to suit the 76ers Team more…
He gets others involved and has coached up a few players.

  17. It doesn’t matter what happens in the future because Ben Simmons has already lost value in stock and they’re stuck with him for the next 3 seasons including this one

  18. The Nets are 2.5 games behind Philly with KD being out for the last 12 and Simmons and TJ Warren playing inconsistent minutes

  19. This is not in debate, but don’t have respect for a player like Harden.

He wanted to go to the Nets in the first place

  20. Just wait till playoffs come and Harden chokes again. Embiid never gonna win a ring like this.

  21. It would’ve been nice to keep Curry. Fultz is really better than BS at this point.

  22. Both teams lost. Sixers should've traded for Haliburton & Hield. They would've still had 💰 money left to add another star by trading Harris.

  23. Simmons is the most overpaid and overrated player in the NBA right now. He's trash.

  24. windhorst think his a genius about this very obvious topic.😂 even 6 yrs old NBA fan will know who’s the winner. 😂

  25. Stg the harden slander makes me laugh sometimes😂 Initially it used to be ball hog, doesn’t play team basketball, stat padder, draws too many fouls when he was leading the league in ppg.. and now when he took a step back and became a distributor “he’s washed and not the same harden he once was”😂 He’s leading the league in assists per game now and doesn’t care about his own stats, just wants to win

  26. I personally don’t think it’s true the nets didn’t need more offense instead got a defensive guy and now their team is more well rounded only thing missing really is a big…..The Nets has a dominant big with adding Harden that’s why ppl think it’s better but it’s just Embiid
