Personally I really don’t like the Poeltl one, but I’m undecided about the Richardson one since we’d be stuck with Robinson for several years.

I’d do the Richardson one. I wanted to draft Jovic with the Branham pick.

  3. I’d take the Richardson trade probably. I’d pass on Jak. If we are gonna trade him it will be a sign and trade this summer I think. Better contract for him (we have highest cap space I think) and it will net a better return for us.

First one isn’t bad. Idk much about Bazley, but a lottery protected pick for Poetl?? I don’t like it

We’re asking for two picks for him, if I remember correctly

1st one, absolutely. 2nd one, hell no.

I would do the first one, but I don’t see why Phoenix would give up a 1st AND Crowder for that return.

Robinson is one of the leagues worst contracts, but one that we can easily absorb (for now at least), we have a clear playing role for him as a floor spacer taking over from McDermott either now or next season (which might help recover some of his value) and let’s be honest he is destined to be a Spur at some point.

I think the other ok assets (Jovic and the average FRP) are worth the cost of that contract.

I don’t see why we would do that Jakob one unless we are big on Bazley. I think it is clear that if we can’t get a good return we would be more than happy to carry Jakob through to the offseason and either resign him, or do a sign-and-trade.

Pop always wanted Jokic so I guess this is close enough

I like the Richardson one, getting a first for Richardson, even if we have to take on bad money, is a great deal.

I’m not a fan of the Poeltl one, those are two mediocre assets and I’d rather just try and keep Poeltl

  9. DevilGunManga

Bazley isn’t that good, so nope.

I’ll accept JRich trade in heartbeat tho. Getting Jovic and a pick for JRich is a steal.

  10. LotusProxy

Getting Jokic, TD, and the Admiral seems unrealistic

  11. fakemxcan

I like the first one where we get Jovic. I think we can do better for Poetl

  12. nofuture_at_all

Duncan Robinson is destined to be a Spur

I can’t hang up the phone fast enough on OKC. Bazley (averaging 5 points and 3 rebounds in his 4th NBA season) and a lottery protected pick for Jakob? I’d rather pluck all my testicle hair with old pliers, cook in in a shit filled pie and eat it.

  14. rattatatouille

    Number one sounds reasonable.

    Number two is eeeehhhhhh.

  15. hispanoloco

I like the Richardson one. We gotta have Duncan Robinson on the Spurs’ roster. 😬

  16. jimmydunn

i hate the thought of getting rid of jak he is just to good at a lot of things that would be hard to replace in ether the draft or free agency

id do the first one get a good young player with jovic we have a ton of cap so the robinson contract wont be too bad for a little bit and who knows maybe a change of scenery could help him plus a 1st round pick to boot

  17. Imaginary-Cycle-1977

First one is a home run and the second one is awful. Quite the disparity lol

  18. DOA for Robinson contract. It’s horrible. Id want a 1st round pick for every year left on it

  19. FirstTribeElder

Actually this is the most reasonable trade scenario bleacher report put up in quite a while

Edit: i did not saw the Jakob one, that trade is awful lol

  20. Fun_Farm_8854

Would do the Richardson deal for sure. It’s a win all around, I actually really like this one. Phoenix might need a bit more, but I’d have no qualms throwing them a decent 2nd to up the value.

    Get it done.

  21. nakedsamurai

That Duncan Robinson contract is HIDEOUS. These trades are stupid.

  22. blangoez

Had to do a double take because I thought it said Nikola Jo*KIĆ*, not Nikola Jo*VIĆ*.

  23. Fiyukyoo

OKC have so many picks, I think they can afford to give up more than just a single first for Jak. I think they have like 8+ first round picks in the next 3 years

  24. I like this trade. Essentially 2 first round picks for taking on Robinson’s salary. It’s not like we need the cap space

  25. Thehelloman0

I was about to say for sure to that first one but Duncan Robinson is a pretty awful contract. He’s guaranteed almost 20M for 2 more years and 10M the year after if you waive him. I’m not sure if the suns would give up a first for Richardson and Strus too. Don’t like the second one for sure, Bazley is a pending RFA and hasn’t shown much.

  26. wrathofspursfans

Bleacher Report trades are always the wildest, and never happen.

  27. AjaniGuccimane

is there a way to block out the trade scenarios? they’re so annoying.

  28. beyoncedoritosJR

I am head over heels for both of these. I also think they are SUPER ambitious.

Would Duncan Robinson be a buyout?
