Unbelievable man… i know sixers have been under the radar but this snub is crazy

  2. Best_Stormtrooper

One full season with the Sixers and James isn’t an All-Star. Anti-Philly bias is real

  3. marcusdrew

Ball out the rest of the year cousin. We’re well overdue for an historical playoff run.

If you listen to Zach Lowe or the Bill Simmons podcast you are part of the problem

  5. James Harden is averaging 21-6-11. He’s leading the NBA in assist per game! The talking heads of ESPN and TNT were mentioning CP3 as MVP the past 2 seasons averaging 16-5-9 and 15-4-11. Harden is 21-6-11 anchoring a top 3 seed in the East. What am I missing? How can a guy with worse stats be in MVP consideration but a guy with better stats not an all-star? Why do people hate on the Sixers? Snubbing Embiid 1st team all-NBA is bad and not naming him an all-star starter is even worse as the 2nd highest odds to win MVP again! But snubbing Harden of this all-star is a new low. Jrue Holiday is an all-star at 19-5-7, Harden is 21-6-11 and not an all-star. Haliburton is 20-4-10 on a 10th place team vs 21-6-11 on a 3rd ranked team. TELL ME WHAT IM MISSING!?

Welp, he doesn’t have to spend the weekend in Utah so he has that going for him.

For me, the most frustrating part about the NBA snubbing Harden is not so much the disrespect angle, but the fact that Harden’s game is sooooo perfectly suited to the ASG. Keeping him out of the game is not just objectively wrong — it will make the ASG significantly less entertaining than it could’ve otherwise been.

Harden is probably one of the 3 best passers of his generation. The man could run an effective pick and roll with an aged, blind Labrador. If any player is built to play in a glorified no-defense pickup game, it’s James fucking Harden.

Jrue and DeMar are both great players, but come on — no one plays defense til the 4th quarter, so there goes Jrue’s bread and butter, and while DeMar has a pretty midrange game, he can’t get up like he used to. I do love a pretty turnaround, but I’m not sure that’s what most fans are looking to see in the ASG when they could be watching between the legs passes for dunks. Harden would probably also be the best oop-thrower on the floor, seeing as Trae didn’t get in either.

I guess the silver lining is that Harden will get a nice little rest, as long as he’s not partying *too* hard.

I hope embiid takes the time to rest and we can just all boycott the game.

This could be the birth of a new legend, Snubbed Harden.

  10. Drewraven10

Would rather see him lift a trophy. Definitely deserved it over Randle, Holiday, and Tyrese. Harden has similar stats to Tyrese but better. Embiid wouldn’t be in the MVP convos without Harden either. That playmaking is crucial but goes under the radar. “ He shot too many free throws and is a ball hog in Houston “. Oh let him switch it up to passing and be helpful to the franchise player. Total fucking silence. Whatever. 😭 Siakam deserved it as well. We won’t care in months anyway.

  11. Take it out on the rest of the league and raise that trophy with Embiid is the only answer. 😤

If you watched Pacers vs Lakers today, you’ll understand Halliburton is no where near Harden.
He has absolutely no 1:1 game in clutch times. This is not just one game. He had a 1 point game this season and one another game he was scoreless in the 4th against the Nets without their top 8 players.

  13. mimepants

They better win. It’s the only way to get that respect. Seems unlikely at this point without upgrades, but it’s not impossible to do.

    Rockets fan chiming in

Fuck the voting process, I lost faith when he averaged 29/8/7 for us in 2016 on a dysfunctional rockets team that still went to the playoffs and he didn’t even get all nba 3rd team

One time, James Harden made a grand entrance at my house, dressed in a glittery suit and sporting a bold, edgy hairdo. He greeted me with exaggerated gestures and plenty of air kisses. As soon as he walked in, he started touching everything in sight, from the curtains to the picture frames on the wall. I couldn’t help but be taken aback by his flamboyant behavior, but at the same time, I was deeply entertained by his enthusiasm. He was a ball of energy, bouncing around the room and telling me stories in an animated voice. Despite his touchiness, I couldn’t help but warm up to his infectious personality. By the end of the night, I was left with a newfound appreciation for James and his unique style, and I let him penetrate me.

  16. LuckyCharms327

Harden about to have a nuclear second half

  17. Hear me out. This is good. He gets some rest (maybe?) and we get a refreshed, pissed off Harden for the rest of the season. Eyes on the prize, All Star is irrelevant in the grand scheme.

  18. SnooHabits7837

Fuck Em! Time for him and Jo to get this ring!

  19. Jimbabwr

He plays for Philly. It’s to be expected. Grind through it bredren.

  20. Thebirdspart2

I don’t care about this stuff. But Hopefully it makes them hungrier for a championship

  21. musicantz

You’re going to see him go off in a game soon. Fuck this team player bullshit.
