  1. It sucks that sochan got hurt last night and jones. Idk if there injuries are serious but it still sucks

  2. I hope Sochan's injury was not serious. I have not seen a player, let alone a rookie improve so much in the same season. Our future is bright with Sochan and our upcoming lottery pick with K Johnson and Vassell as complimentary pieces.

  3. Tim's stats are underappreciated because of the era he dominated in. Players were actually allowed to play defense back then so the fact that he averaged 25 ppg and 15 rbs along with 5 assists is mind blowing tbh. Definitely a carry job in that 2003 finals run.

  4. I just hope that the Spurs build around Jeremy Sochan as a key building block going forward.

Speaking of which, given that he is a great fit with Jeremy Sochan, do you believe that the Spurs will trade for Bones Hyland, Clan?

The reason I ask is because Bones Hyland fits amazingly well with the current young core in San Antonio headlined by Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson, and Jeremy Sochan, and can start easily next to those three players at PG. He also fits their timeline as he is 22, which is the same age as Devin Vassell and a year younger than Keldon Johnson. Furthermore, in addition to these three players, Bones Hyland is also an amazing fit with Victor Wembanyama if the Spurs win the 2023 draft lottery.

If not, and say they get the second pick and draft Scoot Henderson, or a lower pick and draft a guard (Amen Thompson, Ausar Thompson, Nick Smith Jr., etc.), then Bones Hyland can be San Antonio's long-term, future, star sixth man, much like how Manu Ginobili dutifully served that role for the Spurs.

Either way, no matter what happens and given his current fit with Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson, and Jeremy Sochan, I hope the Spurs get Bones Hyland, who will also fit either as a starter or sixth man with whomever they draft with their top pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
