Kyrie Irving JUST BROKE The NBA Trade Deadline [3 Realistic Trades]

Kyrie Irving has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets, just 6 days before the 2023 NBA trade deadline. I explain why and give realistic trades to the LA Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, and Miami Heat.

  1. 2 more notes: The idea of Russ to Utah in a 3 team deal also makes sense. I'd also throw the Clippers in here… they're all in on this season anyway.

  2. Tucker; I hope you're alright man with all of this news constantly with the Nets, as a fan of the team I know you are having a rollercoaster of emotions right now.

  3. Who would want that idiot. All the drama and he's screwing his team again on the way out

  4. As a Mavs fan I’m not giving up anything worth anything for him. Not only is he a headcase off the floor, but as a player every team he’s been on since Lebron joined him in Cleveland has been worse with him on the floor than off it (in terms of +/-).

I mean, if they wanna take Bertans and Powell or some spare parts like that sure, but to me Kyrie is just an expiring deal at this point.

  5. As a NETS get rid of him, he caused nothing but problems since he got here, NETS will be ok with out him

  6. If you think the nets would say yes to Kyle lowry than that’s just a joke of a trade

  7. I wouldn't trade for Kyrie is I was the GM of any team. If he wants, he can sign in the off-season. You'd be fucking up your team for a guy that might just leave in the summer.

  8. How many assets are u going to have to thow to Utah to make them take Russ though… or Brooklyn for they matter… Russ is the type of guy… u suit him up… you lose 5+ extra games.. maybe 10+… he leeches u of wins and gives u nothing in return… given he’s a hard worker… shows up on time… I think people like the guy… former great player…

  9. We tall about squads… being a good fit… for Russ… there isn’t a good fit.. unless you’re a very fringe team and you want a big name with a signature game to sell tickets… I like the Lakers… but I have no obligation to do reality distortion spin for them….

  10. Expiring deal? Forward thinking tanking teams maybe would take him for some seconds.. given does anyone want seconds… ideally the lakers are desperate enough to give away firsts.. if they have any, idk….

  11. I’m a KD hater but I’d love to see him and Russ back together again. Those two and Simmons is a weird (but good) big 3

  12. If u could take lakers firsts in like… 4 years… might be a decent be some high picks… Lebron might be retired or at least declined… Anthony Davis hurt or off the squad.. management fooking awful… although… it is the Lakers… they fall ass backwards into star free agents sometimes 🤔.. when they won the title… they weren’t that poorly managed… made nice pickups like Howard, Green… they had a nice roster in thise days… KCP was a good player… is a good player… they got rid of him for no reason.. he was an asset… and they had flexibility… not sure Harrel is a great player unless you’re feeding him the rock constantly (then he dominates and carries your offense) but he was a nice piece… Kuzma brought good energy… some of these guys.. u might be able to replace their contributions in free agency… KCP was the toughest one to lose… they still have some good players… is pat bev still on the squad? He was great last year.. their biggest problem is they have Russ sucking tons of wins out of the operation… 🤔

  13. Lakers are more desperate to win than the Nets. KD can almost take the Nets to the Finals by himself!

  14. Is there a possibility that irving didn't even request a trade but the brooklyn nets just wanted to interference the trade market?

  15. Got a trade idea that should benefit everyone:
    Toronto gets KD
Lakers Get Kyrie, Thad Young, and Jae’Sean Tate
Brooklyn gets Westbrook, Fred VanVleet (or OG/Trent), KJ Martin, and the two Lakers pick, plus a few of their own
    Houston gets Scottie Barnes

  16. Anyone else feel like Kyrie is a little kid who had several months of bad behavior, but because he’s been good for a couple of months he should be rewarded like the kid who’s been good all year?

  17. Of the 3 teams mentioned, only Heat seem reasonable. They'd benefit from a ball dominant player while having some pieces that wouldn't kill them to give up. Mavs, what are they going to do with a another ball dom player? He'd basically be back up Luka and I doubt he would be mentally stable in that situation. Lakers just … unless KD said he wanted to play with Russ again, idk if Nets would want that contract.

  18. As a Mavs fan I'd trade all our second round picks and all of our bench for Kyrie. I dont even care if he leaves at the end of the season. I'd take the cap space over a Davis Bertans or Dwight Powell, but what I'm NOT doing is trading any first round picks or a starter. I think the rest of the league feels the same.

  19. Denver fans Kyrie and a future protected 1st rnd pick for Jamal Murray are you saying no? You get no guarantee from Kyrie if he will extend.

  20. I blame the Nets for Kyrie . The Nets knew when they signed Kyrie is a distraction . The Nets should trade Kevin Durant and Kyrie .Start over and rebuild . Feel for head the coach Vaugh. You probably go from a championship team to a lottery team .
