I am currently at the game, and there’s an entire section in the 200s of 6ers fans. What the fuck? Like I’m talking a-100 people doing chants. Never seen such a thing

  2. Axsh1boomba

In the first quarter alone, the Sixers commentary has gone “James Harden is leading the league in assists but why isn’t he an All Star?” about 4 or 5 times already.

  3. rainbollic

Blake’s going to be terror on the court if he learns how to really control (and maximise) his insane speed

  4. NoBlackberry5077

Still crazy to me the league let Greg Popovich draft Malaki Branham

  5. irrelevance_90

Branham plays like a 5 year vet. I’m so excited for his future next year when he starts getting more comfortable with the team.

Among some of the surprising developments this year One of the most has to be Malachi branham really struggling from three and as a spot up player ( which felt like the role. He was destined to play his first year) , but genuinely looking like one of the best in between and one-on-one scores in his class already. I knew he had good potential in that department but is in between Game is fantastic for how young he is. If it’s three-point, shooting can stabilize a bit closer to what you imagine it would be. Given his decent looking release and his track record in the past, he has major three level scoring potential.

Already love watching Malaki on offence. Dude’s a bucket. My fave stat: only 38% of his 2-point makes are assisted, which is a massive need for us. If he can stop getting cooked on defence, he’ll be in a great spot.

ngl Harden is incredible without all the foul-baiting bullshit

  9. McWhorter44

“The Spurs have trailed by double digits in 37 of 53 games this season.

SA enters 0-36 when trailing by double digits.”

Checking in at halftime from row 17 behind the Spurs bench, this is what I observed.

    1. There has been a lot of uneven officiating. Moreso in the 1st quarter, and came back before halftime.
    2. Blake Wesley performed adequately. Ok, he can stay.
    2. Josh Richardson can’t catch a break. Goofy fouls, turnover, and got burned on defense. Just not his night.
    3. We are getting to all the 50/50 balls.
    4. We are missing shots we normally hit.
    5. Their guards are doing a lot of damage. They slash, and hit 3s, and it’s hard to scheme that out.
    6. I noticed our guards are not moving on the wings. Looks weird.

If we hit those shots, we’ll get back in it.

  12. Axsh1boomba

Did the MC made an announcement of a game with Scoot Henderson on it?

  13. Keldon can have my ankle, though his is probably still better than mine.

  14. Smellmyhand

My favorite thing about how much they’ve been acknowledging the bat thing with Manu is how they don’t talk at all about how mad PETA got about it. Fuck PETA

  15. Thehelloman0

Second time this game that Embiid has drawn fouls by running into a stationary Jakob

  16. Wow the sixer commentary is especially salty sounding

  17. Axsh1boomba

Branham isn’t being intimidated with her a bigger chunk of the offense going through him… so that’s good.

  18. Thehelloman0

Well Wesley is probably done for the night after he comes out. What an atrocious stretch by him.

  19. whynotletitfly6

I will support him unconditionally as long as he’s on the team, but Blake Wesley plays the exact style of basketball that I hate out of an NBA role player

  20. IowaStateCycho

Wesley might get cut during the game lol

  21. Imaginary-Cycle-1977

Blake looked like he thought Zach was gonna pop and not roll I guess?

Damn things fell apart FAST those last few mins

  22. raraiza15

Wesley is very very raw fellas, decision-making was one of his areas for improvement coming into the league and that’s particularly tough when you’re asked to run the point. And on top of that, he isn’t consistent enough of a shooter yet to be super effective off-ball. He needs as many of these early reps as possible to smooth that stuff out (and he’ll be in ATX a lot I think).

  23. rainbollic

Blake’s incredibly raw and will need a lot of time but it’s fun watching him get to his spots. He’s got something.
