  1. The Nets really don't have much time to make demands, but I hope that the Lakers don't make that trade. Kyrie is easily disgruntled, when he finds that he his third fiddle to LeBron and AD, he will be asking for a trade before April. I don't think the Lakers should take a chance to disrupt their chemistry by trading for Kyrie. If Rob Pelinka is smart, then he doesn't make this trade.

  2. This fella is box office! he plays like Kobe, he is relentless like Kobe, he doesn't care what anyone thinks like Kobe, He is polarizing & controversial like Kobe, He didn't want to play with the Baddest dude in the NBA like Kobe. Like Kobe and Unlike Lebron & AD every time he takes the floor he tryin to cut your heart out all 48 minutes! That's all Lakers fans want from their star.. . In order to win in the NBA u gotta have a dude like this. The Lakers right now don't have that Dude.. LBJ is 38 the OG, AD plays like he is listening to Smooth Jazz ..Kyrie It's Straight Outta Compton! He has Never worn the uniform but he has always been a Laker. Go bring him home..

  3. dont need a 3rd star. ky gonna complain about something and quit like hes been doing. I rather the lakers get depth than a 3rd star.

  4. I’m not sure if I would take that risk. If they want to make a big move it has to be a player who will be guarantee.

  5. I SMELL DECEITFUL INTENTIONS. Kyrie and Durant want other teams to lose focus on actual targets. He has no intention of leaving and Brooklyn will ask far to much

  6. It’s a no brainer that it’s a no win situation in Brooklyn for Kyrie when his renewal is contingent upon how well this season ends which won’t be good enough when Boston/Bucks/Heat can take out the Nets. May as roll the dice and try somewhere else. Anyway, I wouldn’t totally buy into this request and consider it another potential heavy hand to force the ownership to renew him. Notice the request is announced on a Friday and by Monday he may be renewed to get the Lakers distracted. The Nets ownership will have to bite their teeth and force Kyrie to finish the season or say enough with another distraction to their team and ship him out. The Nets may as well get a first round pick out of it since Kyrie will be gone next season anyway. If the Lakers can’t get Kyrie, then they should still try to get a shooting guard such as Demar, Zach, CP, or maybe FVV to complement that tall defensive lineup of Rui/AD/LBJ/TBJr. It’s a model that worked during the 2020 championship when Rondo turned up his shooting during the playoffs.

  7. i say go after Kyrie…gives us more of a chance to win a title this year and i would rather pay a talent like Kyrie instead of FVV and GTJr or buddy and turner

  8. The NBA and Laker fan in me says yes, Kyrie in a Laker uniform would be hype.
But the logical part of me says no, Kyrie will only play half the season because he's too busy going on journeys of self discovery or getting injured. We've barely seen the man passed 4-5 years.

  9. AD is 29 yo, KI is 30 yo. Could be the core for Lakers' future. Granting KI behaves normally.

  10. This guy can't be depended on for anything except being selfish and missing games. But you know he still wants to get paid like he is.

  11. Kylie is the definition of unpredictable. If this trade goes down, there’s Zero reason to send draft picks. Nets have no leverage.

  12. Man, I really wanted to see the Lakers finish the season with Russ, but if they go for kyrie, I can't blame them. I'd prefer if it was in the off season, but either way, Go Lakers!

  13. The Lakers gotta let go of those pics though. If they don't do this trade because of picks I'm gonna scream.

  14. Kyrie is a game changer, both as positive and negative. IMO if Lebron agrees to let Kyrie run the show, this might work. Kyrie wants to prove that he is not the little brother anymore.

  15. Actually, no. For two reasons: 1) he's too mercurial; 2) he'll need a contract, and the price will be hefty 😔 which I ain't all too pleased about… What would you fill out the roster with for the next season?

  16. I wouldn't do the Toronto trade Fred and Trent can't guard offensive lit but that would drastically take us back on defense that's a no Beverly and dennis is the only EXCEPTION cause they're the only guards in the league that goes all in on defense EVERY PLAY

  17. So we've learnt nothing from the past. How many superstars have used the Lakers name as a bargaining chip to get what they truly wanted? They really want to come here? Wait this summer and deal your salary down. In the meantime we can get young and promising pieces by trading Russell Westbrook and Damian Jones away. See who performs and who to keep and then give a salary range to Kyrie. Then we'll know he's not just another Paul George or Kahwi Leonard a**hole.

  18. My opinion I think the Lakers should wait. An roll with the players they have . They just getting learn to play together . Trading will kinda setback the roster. Kyrie a awesome player he had opportunities to come to LA he choose to go to other directions. But he iffy. I think we should push for him in off season . Long as he don't go to Clippers . Russ a good player electrifying player. I think he should not be traded right know . Lol trade Patrick or Lonnie

  19. I think I’m in the minority here because I’d rather go get FVV and GTJ plus Cam Reddish…WE NEED DEPTH THATS HOW WE WILL COMPETE NOW AND LATER!!!!!

  20. If we trade for Kyrie we'll also get a shooter in Joe Harris,
Russ, walker and unprotected 1st wouldn't be bad.

  21. Kyrie is a terrrrrible idea…both on court and offcourt. His bipolar personality is a locker room cancer, he is also very very injury prone, he also plays when he feels like it, doesn't need a coach, basketball is not his main priority, he wants to be an activist while being on the payroll of an NBA player

All you guys are so quick to forget all his past bullshit, going to the celtics, fuking that locker room up, then going to the nets and fucking over his own best friend, which led to Harden leaving a,d the team getting stuck with ben simmons, then causing his own best friend KD to request a trade, then having the coach fired, then refusing to play over social injustice of black people, then refusing to get the vaccine and not playing….it is an absolute shit show and will continue to be

Lakers are better off adding some depth, this 3 star super team formula no longer works, add depth and nurture it we can win more than 1 championship in the next few years

  22. God Noooo!!! There are three players I’d never do a big deal for; Durant, Harden, and Irving. We all get caught up in their immense talent and what they COULD mean to their next teams. But all three of them are absolutely unreliable and to some extent divisive to their teams. You’ll mortgage your long term future for a basket case who, by his own admission, doesn’t consider basketball that important. Not worth the occasional highlight clip.
