This can go so many ways….. if the Nets keep kai for the rest of the season and then he leaves in the offseason what the chances of them signing another player of his caliber fr. I doubt KD even feel like recruiting anyone else himself since he asked for a trade last summer too. The best case scenario for them is to take what they can get for him now and then be prepared to trade KD if they dont get back enough certified pieces to make a championship run… with the assets they get from both trades, it could set them up for a good rebuild just like OKC

I don’t know if ESPN knows this, but Kyrie Irving’s agent actually put out the contract and it shows that the New Jersey Nets want him to waive all of his health rights and personal rights. So they were controllers doctors appointments and they would control his personal life. I wonder if they would ever give that type of contract to a woman and I wonder if they were actually say it out loud

Isn't it obvious Phil Jackson and Rob Pelinka are sabotaging LeBron's final seasons? They do not want LeBron catching Kobe and MJ in rings. So they'll find excuses to not get better like not offering the two picks. MJ is still close to Phil and is good friends to Jeanie. Phil still talks to Jeanie And Pat Riley is good friends with Magic who considers Jeanie like a sister.
Sometimes I think when Magic resigned from the Lakers 4 years ago, it was a plot to make LeBron never catch him in rings either. Magic, Rob, MJ, Phil, Pat Riley, and Jeanie are all in against LeBron and his "posse" from ever succeeding with these Lakers. That MJ needs to still be viewed as the GOAT and that Magic and Kobe are still regarded much higher as Lakers than LeBron will ever be.
The real sweepstakes involves the one right after Kyrie's. The KD sweepstakes. If Lakers land Kyrie but Suns land KD, it's the Suns who are winning it all.
Nets better not be stupid to accept Westbrook in any Kyrie trade. Just let Kyrie walk this summer. If LeBron really wants to win another ring, he should be the one traded for Kyrie. Lakers will not help LeBron succeed. If LeBron wants another ring, it needs to be on a different franchise that doesn't worship Kobe all day.

An initial response, from roughly six GMs, as reported by Mark Spears amounted to all of them saying they saw "NO VALUE" in Kyrie Irving.
Yet, these gentlemen are reporting two simultaneously paradoxical counterpoints… simultaneously. Firstly, the NETS are concerned about getting "EQUAL VALUE" in return for Kyrie and secondly, if Kyrie ends up in a Laker jersey… somehow other teams GMs will have to find a way to upend that trade 'cause suddenly he's "TOO VALUABLE".
