We’re not gonna get him, but this stuff about him messing up franchises is not factual imo.
First team drafted him, he had no choice to go. Went to the finals year after year until he knew Bron was going to LA and asked out ahead of time so that he wasn’t stuck in a losing situation.
Second team he was traded there – did his best to fit into the culture but at the end he fulfilled his contract and left as a FREE Agent.
Third team he thought he found a home, would’ve signed a long-term deal at any point between last year and last week. They dragged it out and then insulted him with an incentives-based deal. He asked out so he can go to a place that wants him now rather than play for an organization that is so inept that they’ve had three major superstars request a trade in a calendar year.
It’s hilarious to me to see so many people act as if changing jobs as an NBA player is any worse than you leaving a job you don’t like. The guy’s looking for a home franchise – I think ours would be a great one but it ain’t happening anyway.
