I stand w the Hawks😤
I'm a big Dejounte defender and I really believe the hawks have the capability to be a top 4 seed. Putting strong defenders around Trae who is a subpar defender is so important just like how the Warriors have strong defenders around Curry. Dejounte has really stepped up his 3-point volume and percentage which is huge for the team. If they lose in the first round or get bumped out in the play-in, surely they'll fire McMillan and get someone new.
We require a different scheme, Nate doesn't coach to his players strengths, Collins is a beast in the open court, magic didn't win until they got Riley and MJ didn't win until they got Jackson, we need a coach and a couple of pieces to go with Trae, Collins & DJ
Hawks need to improve their defense they are a midrange shooting team that doesn't work in the regular season but playoffs 🤔 who knows
Atlanta in the playoffs can beat anyone. Awful coach but so much talent. Injuries have also killed the hawks. Everyone in the starting 5 has been constantly injured. If the Hawks get healthy before the playoffs, they can beat anyone.
I'm comfortable with trading John Collins because I believe jalen Johnson could be a better offensive option. Nate is a average coach and I think we need a dominant big man and more shooting. Even when we're playing Philly in the playoff I knew the nate greatness would be short lived because Philly kept punching us in the mouth and we had to continuously fight back so that just told me something isn't right.
