VETERAN LEADERSHIP THEY NEED IT.
To be hooooooooonest, this might be a sneaky opportunity for the Spurs. Nets need another big. Spurs have Poetl, cap space, and an ability to eat a contract. Some sort of third team facilitation of send Poetl to the Nets, eating the Russ contract, and getting a first out of each of the two teams, is at least somewhat realistic. That said, I don't think it's going to happen. Just a possibility.
Honestly, there isn't that much difference between picks 3-7 in terms of overall talent level, IMO. Amen Thompson, Brandon Miller, Keyonte George, Ausar Thompson, and Cam Whitmore are all roughly even in my mind. Not to mention Nick Smith Jr., GG Jackson, and Jarace Walker.
I don't think that the Spurs should get Kyrie, obviously, but I'm not worrying if the young Spurs improve "too" quickly.
Trade Poeltl and a 2024 1stRd pick for Kyrie.

A big NO for Kyrie to the Spurs. Trade him off to Lakers and we get Westbrook and picks. If Lakers want to win a championship this year and maybe the next, they should be on top of this as they have formidable competition in acquiring Kyrie in Suns, Mavs, and just recently the Clippers. Spurs have enough cap space to absorb any unwanted contracts for picks. Give us those first round picks!

It would make no sense for Kyrie to be a Spur. It would make no sense even if Kyrie was a good teammate. So knowing Kyrie's past, this is unthinkable. Maybe we can be a facilitator for 2 other teams.
In my opinion we should go on the three Team trade with the Lakers and the nets. we will acquire Russell Westbrook and 2027 and 2029 first round pick the Lakers will get Kyrie Irving and the net will get a package around Jakob Poeltl, Josh Richardson ,keita bates-diop and Doug McDermott.
This trade will surround Kevin Durant with great role players
Gives Lebron Irving
And gives us draft picks
In another timeline..
-Kyrie gets traded to the Spurs
-Kyrie unlocks Sochans and the rest of the young guys 3rd eyes
-Kyrie dips after the season to the Lakers
