  1. It's funny seeing people trying to downplay this like it won't make the Mavs elite. The Nets had the best record in the east when Kyrie and KD were playing. The problem is that KD can't stay healthy.

  2. Hate to say it, but a terrible trade for the Mavs. Luka is very ball dominant, as is Kyrie. As we saw with the Nets with KD and Kyrie, just having two players alternate isos is not a good way to win a championship. Basically, the Mavs gave up a little depth and picks for a temperamental superstar who doesn't put you in championship contention.

  3. Several thoughts
    1. Clearly the Mavericks were the winner on this trade but the Nets really had no other options.
    2. Dinwiddie is a good player but he is definitely not on Kyrie's level. Finney Smith is okay but per his stats, his productivity has plateaued out now in his 7th NBA season. Maybe on a new team he could progress.
    3. The Mavericks now have to hope several things happen in the near future
    a. They can resign Kyrie at the end of season
    b. Josh Green and Christian Wood stay healthy and are productive
    c. Kyrie behaves himself, is a good teammate, meshes well with Luka, stays healthy and continues to play at this high level.

  4. Mavericks are barely safe for the playoffs if the season were to end today, @ 6th seed, Warriors @ 7th seed are looking to knock the Mavericks off and down to play-in status.

  5. Dallas is perfect for him lots of Texans are anti Vaxers and donā€™t like certain people who (they are in the Old Testament)

  6. Congratulations to Kyrie Irving. On his way to destroying another team, and making more enemies, as well as losing fans along the way. I pity the Mavs , and their fans for being in the position of need and desperately trying to assemble some talent. I quess they will learn the hard way.

  7. Luka models his game after LeBron – Kyre won his only ring playing with LBJ. West is open, perhaps Luka & KI can make a run.

Great players make it work – and if they don't, it's a rental, shake it up some more.

Current roster is G-league w/out Luka.

  8. Great move Mavericks!! This is huge for us Dallas fans!! The Mavs have a good chance to win a championship before the Cowboys!! Now we have something to feel better about!!

  9. See…You fools who go out & spend $$ on team jerseys are just that …FOOLS! There are worthless Irving jerseys in Cleveland, Bos, & Brooklyn.

  10. Good move by both teams and even better for the Nets. The Nets get back Dinwiddie, a big body in Smith, decent picks, cap space and most importantly, they didnā€™t allow Kyrie to just walk.

  11. Good, now NY media and ESPN have to find another Brother to attack everyday. KD wants out next.

  12. Iā€™m a Mavs fan and I like Kyrie but I think this is not a good equation I mean Mavs offense is as good as it gets what they need is a 2 way player who can contribute and also plays defense. Celtics will still be toying the Mavs even tho they have Kyrie tbh

  13. Im shocked anyone was willing to take on Irving and all his baggage. Good for the Nets, can finally move forward. Im curious what Durants gotta say about this ?. But 3 teams had interest it sounds like. Amazing basket ball player, but he is trouble and not worth the baggage. I can see this not working out in Dallas. Because it hasnt worked out anywhere hes been !

  14. Thank you for allowing yourself to be able to disagree without being disrespectful. Highly appreciated. Great video and perspective.
