If you're trying to make parallels of your life with how this situation is playing out… just stop. Kyrie works in a super inflated market and he is clearly one of a few limited stars. He commands max money, period. Joseph Tsai clearly was mistaken in his idea Kyrie wouldn't have a market. That's a minimum 4 to 5 teams interested and counting. Trade Kai to Dallas for Spencer Dinwiddie and Christian Wood, and Brooklyn can save face and have a chance at success moving forward, this season.
The lakers don't have assets to make this trade happen, so he will go to the clippers or stay in NY

Any team besides the Lakers would be dumb to trade for him. Lebron is the only guy that can tame him. It started with LBJ and him wanting to be the "man" and now he sees being a leader isn't that easy.
I would be so pissed off if the Clipper give up norman Powell for Irving. No way! Norman is a very very consistent good players. With out him the Clippers would not be where their at in the standings.
if he becomes a free agent this summer he will be forced to take best deal available even if it’s a vet minimum…this way he forces the team to pay him the max or let another team pay him the max…any team that gives up asset for him will feel pressured to give him max or lose him at end of year plus those assets given up. He knows he has leverage….nets are a championship team, he knows nets wanna win this year so it’s pay me or lose. Simple business if you don’t get it you probably thinking with your feelings rather than logically.

But business is business and he really has no say so if they trade him to the clippers! The nets just gonna take the best deal they get and ship him wherever that may be. I will say, however, he does have a say so to the team that actually trades for him. If he really wants to be with the Lakers his agent can tell that team straight up that's trading for him "you can trade for me but I wont resign with u after this season!" That's Kyrie's leverage in this situation to try to get where he really wants to be
