    Claxton is now Nets second most important player.. No way Nets would do a straight trade of Claxton for BumVleet. A KD and Bumvleet is a first round exit.

    nets dont need Fred Vanflet, his to undersize for that team. Brooklyn already has edmon summer and cam thomas who each respectably dropped 29pt and 44pt against wizards. Fred doesn't push them over the top.
    The raptors should do Pascal and anyone of (Christian Koloko/chris boucher/achuwa) for nic clarxton +3 first round picks + 2 pick swap. If they trade away clarxton, they will be thin at the front court so brooklyn will need more size

    We get another prospect in nick clarkson + plus multiple picks

    Brooklyn get pascal and another big. This can push them over the top with pascal as number 2.
    This is a deep team, they just need some more bigs. WIN/WIN, no one gets fleece

    What about a three way trade? Picks would be involved, but that will overly complicate my idea, so I’ll let those qualified make those decisions. But roughly have it look like:

    Phoenix gets: Fred VanVleet and Ben Simmons

    Brooklyn gets: Chris Paul and Chris Boucher

    Toronto gets: Deandre Ayton.

    Phoenix does it to get a strong two-way point guard with great offball skills in Fred and a defensive-minded point forward in Ben. Both are within Bookers age-range and would suit Phoenix’s style perfectly. Projected lineup of Fred-Booker-Mikal-Simmons-Saric.

    Brooklyn does it because they get a point guard that is much better suited to Durant while getting out of the headache of Simmons and also getting solid bench big depth. Projected lineup of CP3-Curry-Harris-KD-Claxton

    Toronto does it to finally get the longterm Center they’ve desperately wanted that would work perfectly in their system with their players. Projected lineup of Scottie-Gary-OG-Pascal-Ayton. Keeping in mind they keep OG, otherwise they can trade him for other pieces and that lineup can change.

    This team isn’t bad at all. The only issue is that we don’t have a great bench that can challenge anyone in the starting 5. When the starters are playing bad, no one from the bench can actually replace them, hence starters end up playing over 40mins per game. We need to get rid of everyone on the bench and get a new bench. Keep the first 5 and Achiuwa, Boucher . I would say let’s try to get Devonte Graham, just a good solid backup PG. also to fire Nick nurse !!

    We finished over .500 for this road trip so if Ujiri makes no moves, I'm okay with that decision but these will be the most interesting 4 days of the entire season to see if we make a move or not. I'll support whatever Masai and Bobby do this week, trade or no trade.

    I could see Fred for Ben Simmons. I don’t think they’re giving up on vision 6-9 at all.

    Nets fan here, this video is insane. There's literally one guy who is untouchable on the Nets and that is Claxton. He leads the league in blocks and FG% and is in the discussion for DPOY, but not only is he young, cheap and a rising star, but he's literally our only center. I like FVF, but if the Nets traded "Claxton and picks" for him, a) they're losing value at their weakest position, and b) they literally wouldn't have a center on the roster. Brooklyn's only glaring hole is a backup center. Why would they trade their starting center?
