@John could not agree more on G Williams, actually hoping we resign him for another 3 to 4 year deal assuming he can take slightly less money and fit in and keep the terrific bench in tact for a solid 5 to 7 year run at Finals run. @John you and Perk's banter alone would be worth the price of admission :).

Only reason i trade grant (+salary filler) is we get someone with star potential in return like OG Anunoby. barring something like that we ride it out with grant and figure it out in the offseason.
i do hope we makes moves around the edges for a backup big/wing like naz reid, jarred vanderbilt or pj washington. but not grant. i want these folks for the TPE, picks and justin jackson.

Honestly i think the only thing the Celtics should do is get Naz Ried. Of all the trade rumors and discussion i think Naz is the most realistic amd something that cam acfually help the offense.
I realized that though this team is highly skilled it requires a lot of synchronized play which is hard to do for 48 min straight. I think mazzula should play around with more Passing into the post with Al, Smart, and Rob. People with good to great post moves that cam pass out on the close out. Thats why i want to add Naz Reid because you could get similar offensive production with him at Center and hes cheaper than many other options. It just would depend on the package required to get him

Saying it won’t work and that it will be a disaster but never mentioned how much of an upgrade kyrie is over spender it’s laughable. Only talked bout the off the court stuff and not once mentioned about on the court which is really the main thing that you access if there is going to be and extension or signing. Just because you don’t like him doesn’t mean you can ignore what a generational offensive talent he is. If NBA gms are offering their 2nd best player, 1st best defender and an unprotected draft pick for him means they over looked a lot of kyries off the court and aren’t worried about it either they took the risk wondering if hw would resign. If these pro sport teams took every off the court problems Into consideration that they should sign or trade for them then talent would be a huge drop off. All I’m saying is be realistic you rather have kyrie over Spencer you lose DSS whose probably the biggest hit here because of defense but you have Josh Green and he could start and provide a lot of help in the defensive end with spacing the floor. Luka gets his Superstar who would be his best teammate by a mile and doesn’t have to do everything on the offensive end

I want to see how these 2 fit together before evaluating the trade. People are too emotional about Kyrie. For good reason as he has given ammunition. However the last fiasco was a witch hunt.
JB will be a limited player and one that struggles to win until he realizes he’s not a vg 3 point shooter and is great at everything else. He and Tatum hurt the team coming out heaving and you can tell those games will be a struggle. Sadly even if they hit early often as then they keep heaving up bombs and don’t run the offense.
I live in the Charlotte, NC region and would do a Grant for PJ Washington(Hornets) one for one deal in a heartbeat!
