Jeremy Sochan has been an absolute phenom of a rookie for the San Antonio Spurs. After earning Dennis Rodman comparisons, Sochan has been showing his defensive skills coming out of the 2022 NBA draft. The Spurs rookie has been criticized for his poor offensive showing during the first part of the season but Sochan started shooting one-handed free throws and his shooting percentages just got better. The Spurs are expected to be part of the Victor Wembanyama sweepstakes for the 2023 NBA draft. Coach Pop has mentored a young core which features Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson and other talented young pieces. Jeremy Sochan is right at the heart of this young Spurs group. Jakob Poeltl has been involved in talks at the NBA trade deadline but the Spurs have been playing great and Sochan has shown his two-way skills even as a rookie.

Kyrie Irving to Dallas has been the talk of the trade deadline and the NBA all-star game is right around the corner. However, Jeremy Sochan deserves some attention with his two-way play for the San Antonio Spurs.
