[Fedor] With the NBA trade deadline days away, there’s a growing belief that #Cavs aren’t excited about this market and would be OK standing pat — if it ends up that way — and finally seeing what this fully-healthy team can become.

Yeah this was always the most likely outcome

Teams with available wing shooters are not going to sell them for scraps and I don’t think the FO wants to overpay for a rental

I dont mind standing pat but vert doesn’t fit.

Good chance this is a smoke screen. Fedor will post whatever the FO tells him to. Koby playing 4D chess

Please deal levert for something. Remember garlands extension kicks in next season and Mobley and okoro etc aren’t far behind

  5. Pretty much worse case scenario.

Hopefully they at least move LeVert. They wouldn’t be holding him out if it wasn’t a serious consideration.

Koby playing 4d chess. I doubt he does nothing before the deadline.

Can’t be fully healthy if Windler is on the roster.

Totally fine with this. The amount of fans that want to ship off Okoro for an older, just as undersized, Small Forward who’s already reached his ceiling is dumbfounding. In what world does Hardaway Jr or Josh Hart turn this team into ‘Championship Or Bust 2023’ ?

Only keep him if JB is required to play him less than 25 min a game

REMINDER: The Cavs will still be over the cap if they let both Love and LeVert walk, therefore it’s better to trade them if you don’t want to resign them. They WILL NOT have most of those salaries to spend on free agents – because the Cavs are over the cap.

i really think the nba beat guys have been notoriously bad about knowing what is happening with the cavs FO and Altman. If a trade happens we likely wont have any idea beforehand

I’m fine with staying put but it’s tongue in cheek for me if we keep LeVert and he starts taking minutes from Dean and Cedi.

Regardless the rest of the season shouldn’t be too bad considering our schedule and it would be intriguing to get this team into a playoff series to see how we can fair in playoff atmosphere against good competition especially if we can get home court in 1 series.

It’s just hard for me to look at how the team plays with the 8 players who make us look like a completely different team than when LeVert comes into play. I hate digging him cause he’s a great dude but he doesn’t fit our rotations well.

Would Vert and 2 second rounders be enough to net us Gary Trent Jr? Fingernails aside, he’d be perfect off our bench as a microwave scorer, with a better shot than Caris. The salaries would match up, and I read a few days back that a couple good second rounders could get it done. Plus he’s only 24! Bonus, he was also born in Columbus. Fits our timeline and roster, but only catch is I don’t see Toronto helping us…

I think the only thing we shopping is windier and out 2nd round picks and sussing out if we could get anyone with those that can help us grow.
