  1. Luka and Kyrie will be crazy offensively, I don't even worry about the ball dominant thing. The thing they'll have to figure out is defense

  2. He’s a talent offensively however he’s never been interested in defense. Does offense only make a superstar?
    I don’t think so.
You never hear anyone mention this and it’s huge. If I score 25 and I give up 20, how good am I, really?

  3. the kyrie Celtics situation was bad but if you deep dive into every other time kyrie left and you add context to it you realize that it’s not that crazy. When he left the cavs lebron had one year left on his contract and had brought them a championship . He was planning on leaving let’s be honest bro. Kyrie left before lebron so he wouldn’t be villianized like lebron was for leaving the first time. And fast forward to today kd is probably leaving the nets in the summer. Soooo he wanted to figure out things now instead of later lol this doesn’t excuse his antics but thats not what this move is

  4. Kyrie is full of himself! Why would you want a player like him? I’d rather take a player who isn’t that gifted but willing to put the works and always there 🤷‍♂️

  5. What is this going to do this to Dallas? I can only see this going down the same way as Boston where he was more available to play

  6. It’s not just about basketball with the Nets. Just let him be. Let Kyrie be. Acting like 👩🏻. At the end of the day they do what’s best for them not the team or the fans.

  7. Thanks JJ for the show…. Is funny how some former players they go to sports channels and ignore that fact. Kyrie doesn't want to play he wants to get paid.

  8. JJ the DAM organization OWES HIM MONEY! NYC MANDATES WERE RULED UNCONSTITIONAL… they ironically removed the V mandates for all employees today. There are multiple lawsuits from diff groups in place for people to get their pay, not only kyrie but other members in the Nets organized whom Kyrie has helped personally. For Tsai not wanting to pay him & put clauses that no other player of his caliber has is disgusting. Ya'll keep saying he's a distraction but dont understand the bigger picture. How are ya'll mad the community was there for him with protests cause he has there backs.

  9. CLE: Rumors Of Unhappiness/Friction Wit Teammates, Then A Trade Demand

BOS: Rumors Of Unhappiness & Friction Wit Teammates, Kyrie Leaves Again

BK: Rumors Of Unhappiness & Friction Wit Front Office, Then A Trade Demand

Same Thing Happened In 3 Places & The Only Consistent Variable Is Kyrie… Time 2 Rinse & Repeat

  10. “No favorite in the west” bro you guys gotta stop saying this. Nuggets have won the most games in the NBA, have a 5 game lead on the Grizzlies, are the best offense in the NBA with the 13th defense. A team that was in the conference finals last time they were healthy.

  11. You can shut that wide open west, no one is beating the nuggets in 7 and kyrie’s defense makes that matchup worse for the Mavs.

  12. What happens to his all star spot since he is moving from east to west? Has this situation ever happened before?

  13. Kyrie just want to make everything about himself. He is gonna hate playing with Luka.

  14. I keep thinking Kyrie needed a fresh start and the only place he can just hoop and stay out of the big headlines is Dallas!

  15. Two more grown men admitting they would do anything for the bag, disappointed another man decides to stand up for his beliefs.

  16. "Availability is an issue" crazy how superstars seem to come with their unique baggage added to the trade haha. Such modern issue 😅

  17. As a Mavs fan there is no denying Kyrie's talent. On court he is a savant with the ball. His tough shot making is off the charts and it'll definitely help some of the Mavs late game scoring issues won't be able to double Luka as often. BUT Sheesh I wouldn't have done this. Feels like a desperation rental. You trade away (by all accounts) 2 really good locker room guys who are vets that worked their way into starting jobs for one of the most talented by mercurial personas in the league. I don't like the track record he's left behind him so it's hard for me to believe this stint with the mavs will end any differently. And at that point the mavs have 2 fewer quality rotation guys and 1 less first round pick.

  18. idk with guys coming back from injury i think our defense can bounce back because our offense will be figured out luka can share the ball now that he has a guy that can go out and get it himself

  19. Kyrie Irving is unstable. You never know when that weird thing that gets in the way will make its appearance. If he was reliable, to always be there, and you got prime Kyrie Irving all the time he would be extremely valuable. But with Kyrie Irving, you don't know what percent of the time you will have him available. Dinwiddie is actually darn good, and Finnie Smith is a good defender. Not sure how Kyrie Irving and Luka's ball dominance fits together. Big risk for Mavs.

  20. While we should acknowledge that kyrie held his belief despite monetary cost, we should also acknowledge that his belief is toxic. Suppose a white guy is willing to sacrifice money to hold on to his belief that black people are satan worshiper who want to destroy white people's society (similar to how kyrie believe jews intentionally stole the identity of Israelite from black people). Then his belief needs to be criticized regardless how brave he is, or whether the belief is religious.

  21. I think it worked with Bron because he likes to defer. Bron is a great cutter, he likes to pass and play off ball, but he can also be ball dominant when he wants to and get into some iso situations. If that’s not a guy’s game or he doesn’t want to be in that role, I think it’s going to be tough for Kyrie to play with them.

  22. I can't be the only 1 who is surprised the nets situation didn't last……..
I also can't be the only 1 who thinks Dallas made a stupid move.

  23. If Brooklyn wanted to get rid of Kyrie why didn’t they trade him before his request. A trade request only diminishes his trade value. And I don’t think he had a no trade clause.

  24. Good post like always but another issue is really interesting that so far was not really addressed much by anybody: Would be good to hear how they will make it work. What plays do they run? How do they share the ball? 2 guys that need the ball and have the ball a lot and penetrate and are not used to catch and shoot etc. Obviously Doncic is a hell smart player that played under different circumstances and in different roles with different sytems and co-players in Europe so guess he can adjust but it will still take Kyrie to also adjust. Not sure the egos work, not sure 2 ball–dominat guys work. SD and Powell worked in combination with Luka. The off-court stuff ill leave aside with Kyrie and also if its worth it considering the risk that Kyrie will not sign an extension with Dallas – in that case Dallas is fukced. I think actually a great catch and shoot guy or big man would have made much more sense for Dallas but yeah if it works like LBJ and Kyrie then thats a an ingenius move but LBJ and what he was then is still different from Luka and also Kyrie now is different personality and maybe so to say authoritywise. Anyways would be glad if you could go a bit in depth how you think it will work and play out on the court

  25. as a mavs fan i couldnt be more unhappy with this trade. we gave up 2 of our best players outside of luka for a guy thats not going to stay after this season. we effectively paid the lakers fees for him to walk there for free and we probably arent winning a chip with him either.

  26. Thats all y'all do is bash Kyrie. Just because he doesn't follow with the crowd. He's grown and seen the error of his ways. Let it go!! This gets old. If he joined with Lebron, no one would bash him. Which is it?

  27. Interviews you should do ja, Trae, ant, lbj, Kyrie, klay, dame, Dominique, bird,Mobley, Kpj, pozingis, hero,Jimmy, harden, keldon Johnson, scoot, wenbanyama,

  28. Nets owners are scumbags, Kyrie did nothing wrong and everyone knows not getting the jab was the right choice

  29. Bk3 couldn’t do it.
    Cp3 harden couldn’t do it
Sixers super team couldn’t do it
    Kwahi Pg can’t do it.

It’s simple THESE DUDES ARENT LEBRON! HE IS DIFFERENT!
