Dane is a true delusional Minnesota fan, I respect it. Realistically, there are few reasons to be confident about this Wolves team, but I guess he finds creative ways to convince himself that it's not a disaster. That Rudy trade is really going to haunt them for the next few years, I really don't see a bright future for the franchise. Unless Anthony Edwards makes the leap to superstardom in the next 2 years, things are going to be rough.
I don't know why Dane is more confident against Denver as opposed to Memphis, Jokic absolutely destroys each of the 5 Minnesota centers. Minnesota would also kill to have a guard like Jamal lol, get outta here. Other than Edwards, who on the Wolves' starting 5 is a potential mismatch for the Nuggets?
I don't want to sound too overconfident, but Nuggets should comfortably beat the Wolves in 4-5 games in a playoffs series. While Michael Malone struggles to make effective in-game adjustments, I don't see Chris Finch being able to create difficult problems, especially with that roster. Minnesota also lacks experience/maturity in the playoffs – does anyone else remember how bad KAT was, or how they threw away advantages against the Grizzlies last year? Jokic & Gordon would be award-winning BBQ chicken against Rudy & KAT.
A Kevin Martin jr would be cool to see coming off the bench crashing the paint opening up more out side opportunity with high energy and high fan favorite player.
But i would like any pick up to be a lock down defender.
