This will propel the Spurs towards Championship Contention.

So we are just taking on the contract? And not giving anything?

  3. AboutTime99

Not the trade we want… the trade we need!

    He’s getting waived.

Also, was he in good terms with the FO after leaving years back?

Dedmon’s a neat player. Hope he finds some minutes somewhere in your rotation. It’s kinda like if you built a slightly above-average roleplayer but tanked his mental tendencies. He commits endless defensive 3-second violations, he’s hilariously prone to taking above-the-break deep 3s and he’s an absolute foul machine at times, but he also does like… every little thing correctly? He helps great on defense, he makes intelligent screens, rolls with good pace — it’s all very silly. Heat Twitter deemed him **The Mechanic** because he fixed all the little things when Bam went down with his UCL tear. (He also looks like a mechanic.) He then (ALLEGEDLY) sent C&Ds to the podcasters who were selling Mechanic merch (after they’d coined the term).

He’s a rollercoaster of a player. I hope you guys don’t waive him. He’s like, exactly who I’d want as a third-string Center if I was tanking. (which is funny, because he was the backup center on a contender last year).

We should have taken Duncan Robinson for shits and giggles

A part of me thinks Poetl might be on the move before the deadline.

We’re trading, but for who Chris Kamara?

    (Diddy/Skylar Grey) “I’m coming home…”

    Spurs waive Dedmon

    (Dewayne Dedmon) “I’m going home…”

Very small deal but hopefully bigger deals to follow, at least we are sending out cash for a pick instead of doing the opposite.

Please explain to me, why Miami couldnt have waived Dedmon and keep the pick?

Shams with what qualifies as breaking news. We are all so hungry for something. Let’s get some trades done.

What a great tweet. Stating only one side of a trade.

  14. Might as well spend the space. Spurs are below the salary floor, and taking back 20 million or so in salary costs the team absolutely nothing. Any assets are worth it.

Let’s goooooo, the last piece we needed

  16. ShootaIMP

I’d have loved if he had stayed after the 2016-17 year. I doubt he plays, but it would be interesting if Pop manages to get the Dedmon from all those years ago back.

spurs might be able to package a lot of draft picks for the #1 pick next year if we don’t get the #1 pick

  18. PlaymakerJavi

He can be cut at the end of the season for $0 dead cap.
