I already miss him and Spencer.

More basketball to go, looking forward to more minutes from Josh and Hardy.

Honestly, one of my favorite mavs ever. I remember watching him in his rookie season as an undrafted free agent and thinking “man that guy has insane motor and contests every shot so well”. I wish him the best

He better get a 5 minute standing ovation when the nets play dallas at home

The only thing I take solace in is the fact that Mavs do like to run it back with guys that previously were here. I hope we see Doe again. what a stone cold killer on the court. I miss him already.

Still processing this one. Remember that Nuggets game recently when he knocked down the game winner. Thanks for the memories. Hope you’ll be back in Mavs uniform.

Role model regardless of your walk of life. Dude embodies hard work and perseverance. Will be a huge hole to fill in the locker room

Great Dude. I had the pleasure of meeting him back when he was trying to make the team back in Summer League Days. My wife and I were flying to Vegas and were on the same flight as the Mavs Summer Leage Team. We were the last 2 on the plane and set with the players in the back. I sat next to DFS (my wife next to Perry Ellis) and we talked the entire trip.

I asked him what he though his chances were of making the squad. He told me he knew he would make the team and was going to kill it. His biggest issue was he left his wallet in Dallas lol. Anywho…we talked hoops and palyed Injustice mobile.

Bball is a biz and he will kill it. Always will root for him. Special story.

When DFS was young in our tanking years, I always thought if he could learn to shoot a 3 pointer, he could have a really long career in the NBA. Sure enough, he did just that. Kudos to him. Will miss that man!!

I’m going to miss him like crazy. Hope the Nets treat him well.

  23. highfalutinman

I’m sad, but not worried. He’ll be back one day, and win a championship with the Mavs

Thanks DoeDoe. He’s a major glue guy type of player. One of my favorites players on our team for the last few years.
