Cade Cunningham only played 12 games this year while being hampered by a shin injury, before eventually being shut down for the season after having surgery to deal with a stress fracture. The Detroit Pistons currently have the worst record in the Eastern Conference, but if Cunningham had played this season could he have saved the Pistons from being at the bottom of the league?

    As much as I like Cade, I don't think he's a difference maker this season or even next season since he's coming back from an injury. Unless he comes back like a Paul George which would be AMAZING but very unlikely… remember this comment…

    Nah I actually think Cade getting hurt was the best thing to happen this season. It gave a chance for Ivey,stew, Killian and Duran room to grow. Now we know what we have sooner

    The Bey deal is a lot more likely than Hami in my opinion. Also, the asset of our 2023 to NY is a fraction of an unprotected, they know it doesn't help them including it in a deal with anyone else but the Pistons.

    I would actually be surprised if we make a deal before the deadline and DON'T get that pick back, it just makes too much sense especially given the rumblings.

    The time for Cam Reddish flyers has past. We don’t need another experimental wing who can’t shoot and play connected basketball. Time to move forward with high level role players who play the right way.

    That said, the trade proposals were decent and I could see Weaver consider them.

    We might need to trade Saddiq eventually but I don’t think the right time is now.

    RE: Cade. I didn’t expect the playin or anything like that anyway. Cade wouldn’t have lead this team to a ton of wins. But I do think the team would have been better. He’d have had his own ups and downs, but I believe he would have progressed overall. And we really have missed a guy his size who plays defense and makes Ivey and Duren’s lives easier. But oh well. Curious how year 3 Cade (with bionic shin) will look.

    Maybe we could mix those two trades. Bey, diallo and there second of '26 or our second this year for reddish, our first back and the first they have from Dallas this year.

    I think stew is a rythym guy seeing as how he stopped shooting for a minute. He's been having random injuries so that's probably another factor. But I'm willing to give him the rest of the season i mean who else finna play 4? He's also a hard ass worker so I'm willing to see him work it out
