Let's not act like this team doesn't need another shooter and athletic rim protector that can space the floor and, to constantly keep talking about now is not our time and waiting for the future is idiotic because we don't know what the future holds and our star's are injury prone. Let’s go pels dominated largely due to BI being a beast and on the same night Bron secures himself as the 🐐. What a night!
It's because our Role Players stepping up, we won't win with just BI or Zion doing all the work but the team should know their roles and step up
1. BI's and Zion's playmaking are really why they can become elite
2. Without Zion, I definitely think we need someone (hopefully >6"6) off the bench who can either create his own shot or run the offense well
3. I think they can involve JV/big men a lot more in the offense, even if it's just weakside action. Just to keep the defense honest
Ingram creates so much gravity, CJ gets better looks and that trickles down. From cjs gravity to Jonas ' and even Tm3s. When Zion comes back the opposing defense has to stretch in so many different ways
Side note , I still think neither CJ or BI are 100% yet. or highest health possible given we're deeper into the season. The timing looks promising for may/June

I’ve heard that Immanuel quickley may be available. I think he’d b a great addition if he is on the block. He adds length, defense, he’s a pg, and he can get a bucket. He’s also young so he fits with the pels timeline
This team needs to get Dwight Howard. We get absolutely OBLITERATED on the boards when Val isnt in the game its freakin tragic at this point. Hes our only elite rebounder
People laugh but Howard fills all the roles we need:
1. Another freakin rebounder
2. Another veteran
3. Interior defender
4. Someone who doesnt need the ball and can give you 10-15min a game
WE DONT NEED A SHOOTER! Pels fans need to stop saying this nonsense we have enough in CJ, Alvarado, BI, Murphy and even Val and Marshall can knock down the 3 especially Val. He gets Hot when rested which is another reason we need Howard to back up Val

I use to be such a fanatic, I live Bball but I don't take it as serious as I use to but because of "Locked On" I can keep up with my brothers, cousins, & friends favorite teams in order to utilize & leverage comradeship, build bonds & strengthen healthy relationship.

I think they will try to upgrade by shopping Hayes and Graham maybe someone will want them as they are out of the rotatioin
I would be extremely disappointed if we don't make a trade, it just doesn't make sense if we don't. We have 3 Centers who all have the same problem with defense, and temp, graham, jax, willy barely even play, if they even do play. Im sure everyone understands the only thing were really missing is 3pt shooting and rim protection, and in the playoffs teams are going to abuse this.
It’s nice seeing CJ playing more off ball since BI has been back. BI demands so much intention on the D said he opens up guys not to mention some of the great passes he does by just driving and opening up for others last night BI was just on you could see it coming from last game he did in the 2nd half last game
Again, I agree with Antonio Daniels' commentary and Jake's observations. The Pelicans win games decisively when they are able to move the ball and attack which also opens up their 3 point shots. I just hope Willie Green start conditioning his role players to be more aggressive on the offensive side like they were in this game. If the Pelicans do make a trade, I don't think it would be a wise move to trade any of the starters right now in the middle of the season. JV may be slow moving, but he is a walking, durable double/double with great team chemistry. The Pels really have too many undersized guards on the bench so that is an area that we can upgrade. Look at some good reserve guards who are btw 6'5" – 6'7" who are consistent shooters and play solid defense in exchange for DG, GT, &/or KL. They also need a good rim protector so they should be looking for another reserve PF/C who is btw 6'9" – 6' 11" who can move around enough to block shots and shoot 3 pointers in exchange for JH or WH &/or possibly some lower draft picks. The Pels don't really need to make any flashy big splash moves. They just need to find another good role player who can contribute off the bench behind the starters. Or as was also suggested, just don't make any moves & go with what you know and have already!
During the 10 game losing streak NONE of the 50/50 plays were going our way. Now they’re starting to balance out
BI is 1a to Zion 1b.. I know Zion dominance is exciting but who you giving the ball to to close the games.

I don't see us making a move. Unless we know we can't make a long term deal with Hayes and he has value in the open market. Ghram is over paid but not so over paid as some of the proposed trade targets and not worth attaching a pick to move. Big V is a fine center we need some center depth and his contact is nice. At this point upgrade Temple, Ghram ,Hayes or stand pat. There will be a million rumors but if we want a consistent team it's best to continue to develop the talent we have.
guys, im not sure if the Pels should trade anyone at this stage of the season. i still believe this team is good enough to take on anyone. messing with the team chem is NOT what i am willing to risk. these guys play for one another so u can see how hard they are trying to win just so the next guy dont get traded. bringing another player in may or maynot mess with a team chem. id think about it after the season but not right now.
