I know that a lot of people around here would hate this, but I’d personally be in favor of it.
Conley is a lot like Kyle Anderson. He’s not really flashy, and he doesn’t put up big numbers, but he’s a steady, reliable veteran who consistently makes winning plays.
Just to be clear we aren’t the one giving away the 1st here.

If they are moving D’Lo it’s because he won’t re-sign or they don’t want to re-sign him. Think long term. This holds his cap spot and Conley is still a solid option at PG.
With that said D’Lo > Conley right now so we better get something else with Conley.

Not really a fan but if we’re gonna lose Dlo in free agency anyways it might be a good idea to get something back in return.
Conley and Clarkson to Wolves; Westbrook and Forbes to Jazz; Dlo, Malik, and Vando to Lakers. Some picks to Utah from Lakers. Wolves avoid the tax, Lakers pay more tax, Utah get more cap space.
I honestly don’t hate this. Conely’s played with Gobert for a couple seasons, might be what we need for the PnR when getting Rudy involved. With that being said, D Lo provides so much offensively and that would be a huge hit if he’s gone. Want him to stay but business is business.
I feel like we should be getting something else in this deal or involve more players to get more value somehow.

10 min ago I hated this, then I realized not trading Dlo fucks us over and resigning him fucks us over. Would like to get more from Dlo, but this is fine. Conley has a lot of experience playing with Gobert too.

Idk bout the hate on here. He’s had a good year. Veteran pass first point guard who can defend and is comfortable with Rudy is great. He saves the salary spot and gives you another year to find a replacement. Exactly what they need.
Tim Connelly needs to be fucking arrested
DLo was benched in crunch time of an elimination game 10 months ago. He’s been awesome offensively this year but I don’t think they want to hitch their wagon to him long term.
People in this sub are acting like they weren’t begging for him to get traded a year ago and now are upset at trades where we actually receive a positive return.
We need more adults. Conley is an adult who can score some, and facilitate a lot.
We only do this trade if we know KAT is coming back soon.
