I wish the trade never happened. Not just because it hurt the Lakers, but I feel bad for Russ. He has declined, but I feel all the Laker drama made him play worse. This was by far the worst run of his career and it was embarrassing for everyone. Russ also wasn’t really a jerk when it was all said and done. Just all around a terrible move that hurt everyone involved. He should’ve been traded in the summer for our sake and his.

Credit to Russ for going to the bench and being a pro. Less credit to him for being a dumbass multiple times this season and costing us key possessions late in winnable games. It was a ride for sure, and I wish him the best going forward on any team besides the Lakers.

Watching this man play for the Purple & Gold caused so many headaches.. It is such a relief to have not only gotten him off of the team, but to have also picked up really solid, quality players that will contribute to winning basketball and not try to make everything about themselves.
